The pub offers a nice atmosphere and offers a good range of alcohol and fresh home cooked food. I also liked that they run lots of accommodation and the bedrooms are right next to the pub itself and quite classy.

Thank u all for a great six nations. Brilliant atmosphere and the service was superb. Ham egg and chips and fish finger sandwiches were tasty though slightly pricey. Won't go anywhere else now for the rugby. Sorry to c Paul and Roger go but wish u both all the best in your new ventures. I'm sure u will do well....

My wife and I stayed one night, prior to catching a flight back to New York. We had booked a luxury double. We received a very friendly welcome on arrival and were shown our room. The room was large with the most bizarre eclectic mix of furnishings that just did not work, but most absurd of all were the squeaky...

Lovely hotel that is happy to allow dogs to eat alongside you in the dining part of the bar. we had a mixed party of carnivores and vegetarians both of whom found the food to be delicious. Service was good as well. Only disappointment was the bar shuts at 11pm for hotel guests so we missed out on our night...

Pleasantly surprised by The Crown. Staff very friendly, interesting old pub, very comfortable spacious room and bathroom. Good location within walking distance of all shops etc. Popular pub with locals, yet quiet at night.

We are regulars to The Crown and my friends eat their very often. The food is very good although a bit expensive and the staff are very friendly. We have often commented how sticky the tables have felt in the past. We went there for Sunday dinner as my friend raves about it and we sat next to an elderly...
