I couldn’t write a more positive review if I tried. The rooms were beautiful and cozy with a gorgeous view; they had a delicious free breakfast included in the reservation; the location was perfect for waking around; and most importantly the host was one of the kindest and most warm people you could ever meet. I loved my stay and would come back.

This boutique hotel is an amazing place. It’s a restored family home from 1812 which has been modernised into a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are spacious with lovely comfortable beds, the breakfast is a delicious feast and the location is so convenient, just minutes from the Old Bazaar and castle. There is a peaceful courtyard to sit in with stunning views of the mountains and free private parking.
What makes this place so special though is the wonderful owner Tatiana and her family. They welcomed us like friends and their kindness was overwhelming.
If we are ever lucky enough to return to this beautiful part of the world, we will definitely stay again 💞

This is an example of how all small hotels should be run, simply outstanding.

Tatiana and her family are the most welcoming and warm hosts you could wish for, they really take care of their guests.

The hotel has been renovated to a very high standard and is absolutely immaculate and very very clean, rooms are furnished to a high standard and the beds are super comfortable.

The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful.

The hotel is situated close to the centre of the old town with parking and stunning views across the valley, I highly recommend this hotel.

This wonderful, atmospheric hotel is in the very heart of Gjirokastër. The hosts who run the hotel are the most lovely, generous people on Earth. To experience their warm hospitality in the context of a beautifully restored Gjirokastër stone mansion is a treasured gift. Breakfast is exceptional. This small, boutique hotel is certainly one of the best places to stay in Gjirokastër.

Lovely boutique hotel. Tatiana is very helpful she gave us many suggestions of places to eat and visit, all very good.
Room was very spacious and bright. Nicely decorated with traditional touches. Windows were fantastic all around and offering great views. Everything was cleaned to sparkle. Comfortable bed great shower.
Location is excellent walking distance to everything: bazar, castle, traditional houses opened for visiting, ethnographic museum.
Highly recommend.

We stayed there for one night as we toured through the country. Would have wanted to stay longer because Tatiana made us feel at home. It is family owned, around 200 years old building, which is very nicely renovated. Breakfast was very good.

A beautiful hotel! We stayed in the suite which was light and airy and an amazing view over Gjirokastër. The bed was really comfy (medium-hard) with lovely pillows. The service from Tatianna was amazing. We followed Google maps to get there (DO NOT DO THIS!) and when we got stuck in the cobbled streets in our car, she came out and helped us to get there. Breakfast was delicious. Really well located and near lots of popular places. 10/10 would recommend

A super heritage hotel close to the touristic core of the town.
We 100% recommend a stay here. Rooms are clean with good beds. The building is full of charm, but more important than bricks and mortar is the host Tatiana. She really does care about the experience of her guests and she made us so welcome.
Book, you will not regret it.

I’m truly honored to be the first to review this hotel because it was my favorite hotel in Albania. My husband and I selected only the highest rated places, and this was still our most memorable, just to give an idea about our enthusiasm. First of all, the location is fantastic to easily access the important sights of Gjirokastër. Second, the hotel is a stunningly renovated historic home with a well deserved category of UNESCO distinction. And somehow most endearingly, the owner, Tatiana, has an incredibly generous and welcoming disposition. I think this is why the place has become the most memorable, the genuine good nature of Tatiana.

Upon arriving to Gjirokastër, we went to the tourist center where they called the hotel for us. Tatiana then met us in the center to guide us to her hotel where she provided safe, off street parking. Our first impression of the hotel was outstanding. My husband loves art and architecture and the fine restoration and super tasteful interior design really wowed us. We had a smaller room, but because of the style, high quality bed linens, smart TV. and spotless modern bathroom, we were very comfortable. Very unexpectedly, Tatiana brought us a tray of local fresh fruits our first night which is how she goes out of her way for her guests. Breakfast is a dealbreaker for me and I can vouch that it was fantastic. Tatiana makes sure that you have everything you need and keeps your coffee cup full. My tip to couples is order one Albanian breakfast and one continental so that you and experience both and share. For full disclosure, Tatiana does not speak much English but she is a google translate enthusiast, and this actually added to us communicating more than we did elsewhere and leaving with the feeling that we had truly connected with our host, the hotel and the town.
