For a campsite Rummana is pricey but then you won't come across many campsites like this one. Location is out of this world, surrounding scenery and walks that you can do are breathtaking, accommodation in the luxury tents is really comfortable and the food that the kitchen produces was some of the tastiest we had in Jordan. Hamzi and his...

The Rummana Camp was comfortable but make sure you choose the tents that over look the valley, it's the perfect site to wake up in the morning and watch the sunrise. The camp doesn't have any hot water in the showers which was a bit disappointing but the view made up for it. The food was simple but delicious and...

We arrived after a 2.5 hour drive from Amman only to be told we could not enter only to hike due to too many people down at the actual camp site. Many calls were made to many people, we were told to wait around. We waited for an hour and after being told by upper management that we could enter,...

This wasn't the first time staying here. Usually it was good, but this time it was really bad. Our group were a mixed group of males and females. Once we arrived there, the manager said that the Jordanian General Intelligence Directorate does not allow mixed groups in one tent. That was a lie for several reason I won't list here....

Although the price tag can seem expensive for a tent camp, it is worth it's value. The camp is located on a very nice place near a cliff where you have great views over the Dana Reserve. Be sure to enjoy both sunset and sunrise (get up early!) because this is why you come here. Dinner and breakfast are ok...

The Rumana Camp is located in the Dana Biosphere Reserve - I am attaching a location map as the journey to go there is quite tricky otherwise. It is about 190km from Amman: You will reach a Reception centre where you leave your car and take the green shuttle truck down do the reserve, enjoying the wonderful view on the...

The great things about this camp, which I've stayed at twice, are the friendly staff, great food and comfortable tents with mattresses, linen and warm blankets provided. The communal Bedouin tents are fun for chatting around the fire at night and hiding from the heat during the day. The communal toilet blocks are clean. Showers are cold water only. The...

If you're going for a real hiking experience there is no reason not to stay at Rummana campsite. You can stay out hiking from the early morning until the evening, and then come back to your comfortable (albeit a tiny bit dirty) tent for a rest. Also, despite the heavy presence of insects and the like, we only found a...

We have been in the camp for three days with our children and it was a wonderful experience. The place is in the middle of nature and you can start hiking from here in almost any direction to find amazing views and interesting plants, flowers, lizards etc. Our kids enjoyed it a lot. In the night there is a fire...

This camp was a wonderful experience . Comfy tents with loads of blankets plus bedding that looked new never mind clean . The food was good . The people and the site a sheer delight. The showers had cold water . As long as I know the showers are cold i don't have a problem. The problem is when it...
