Welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We had a great stay in a very clean and comfortable room with a gorgeous view looking down toward Petra (sunset was particularly spectacular). The packed lunch and shuttle to and from the visitors centre made our days exploring the ancient

Rooms are exactly like in the pics. Clean, reasonably new and quite big. People at reception might not be the most cheerful people in the world at first but If you give them a chance you will be surprised about how helpful they are. Mahmod in particular was great, he helped

This place is amazing, starting with the staff. They are extremely helpful with everything, information, amenities, all. The food in the hotel is also exquisite, have at least a dinner here. Free shuttles to Petra which is close anyway and connection with any area in Jordan.

It costs approx 80 Jordanian Dinar (about 110 USD) with the taxis out the front of the airport to get from Amman to the hotel. The rate is pretty much a standard rate and you cant really bargain. There were buses you could take but we were time limited and split the cost between the 2 of us which helped!

Agree with Joop V, stay in Madaba and then travel to Petra next day. Also if you're taking a taxi to Madaba ... suggest walking out of the airport and walking to the Taxi Booth outside for fixed price taxis. There is a counter inside the airport, which also offers transportation, but is much more expensive.
