The essence of luxury at the gateway to one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This family run hotel resort is almost beyond luxurious, set in the old village of Petra, with incredible views, beautiful and super comfortable rooms, wonderful staff and great facilities including a stunning outdoor pool. The breakfast and dinner buffets are just delicious.

Absolutely charming hotel, you really feel as though you are in a little town back in history. The rooms are just ok, but they are so spacious that it is perfect for families. The meals are lovely, the staff was very friendly, my only recommendation is to heat the pool as it was freezing. But other than that a one-of-a-kind experience

Lovely family run resort but a few things seemed off. We had a poor spa area experience. My massage was disappointing and my friend ended up having to shower off in our room after a skin treatment when the spa area had no hot water available. While we joked about this it was not great that she was still charged full price as the experience was degraded and she got very cold and was then driven Up the hill ( part dressed) by buggy to our room to shower Many of the lockers in the spa area are broken The buffet dinners were good but the breakfast was not as good as our other hotels. Some rooms are a real trek up a steep hill but golf cart is available on request. Nice rooms and well kept gardens

We stayed at the Old Village for two nights while we visited Petra. It's a fantastic hotel with a boutique hotel atmosphere. The overall facilities are very nice, and our kids really enjoyed the indoor pool. The restaurant was nice, the rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The hotel team gave us two rooms with sun decks and amazing views of the town and surrounding mountains. I definitely recommend this hotel.

So charming and historical. The rooms were nice and large. I asked for a room with a view after seeing the room I was given. Nothing was wrong with it. I just wanted a room with a terrace and a view. They were so accommodating. At first they showed me a room that nearly double the size of the first room, but upon learning that I was a single traveler, they had another available room with a balcony and views with no additional charge. I would have paid the additional for larger room if nothing else was available, but this worked out beatifully. I was happy. I also got a massage and the masseuse was wonderful. The food at this resort was excellent. I must say it's was the best food I've had yet on this trip and we just spent 10 days in Egypt.

A hotel which used to be old historic houses, so you have the atmosphere and history. Lovely large room with seating area outside, really comfy beds, indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi, sauna and great massages. Food was buffet style and some areas where they cooked specific to your liking, but food was good and staff really helpful and friendly. Really lovely resort.

Beautiful unique accommodation and venue with its own history, booked by our tour group. I would definitely recommend staying here. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the delicious buffet, a la carte, and a cappuccino at the Cafe and restaurant. The location is about 2kms from the entrance of Petra's ancient city. Given the mountainous terrain, it is a very long way to walk. Best to use the day shuttle or other transport such as a taxi. Lovely staff who were very welcoming - loved the welcome hot tea too.

A very well appointed, pleasant hotel/resort with lovely views. Service was good and staff hospitable. Clean room and restaurant areas. Daily room service was good. Having golf carts to transport guests to rooms that were up the hill is good initiative!

This is an absolutely lovely place to stay with impeccable service and food and an ideal base to visit Petra. Converted and built around a former Bedouin village, all the old houses have been converted into hotel bedrooms but are all a short walk from the main buildings with restaurant and reception etc, as well as the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spa facilities, etc. The rooms are lovely and immaculate - very spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom with excellent shower. My bed was very comfortable with a good, firm mattress. Satellite TV is available as is free wifi. The staff were very helpful and efficient. The laundry service was excellent and very quick. And the food was excellent - a huge array of self-service buffets with chefs freshly cooking grilled meats at dinner and omelettes at breakfast. I felt very at home, which is unusual in a hotel. I wish I could have stayed longer! If you're travelling there, give yourself a full day to tour Petra, it's wonderful.

This hotel complex is built on the site of an old village and is full of character. Each room is like a little individual house. It is a quiet setting, excellent facilities and great restaurant. My room was comfortable and spacious with nice bathroom. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. There is no alcohol but they make delicious non-alcoholic cocktails and other drinks.
