I stayed here for one night. The room was ok sized and clean. The hotel is right beside entrance gate to Petra, so very convenient for an early shift start in the morning. The Cave Bar is cool and fun the chill in.

I see you are going the other way, but that should work, too. Flying from Jerusalem/Tel Aviv to Eilat and having a driver pick you up to take you to Petra. If you stay at Petra Guesthouse, you won't need a car while you are there since it is at the entrance to the Petra site. Look on the map and you'll see that many other hotels will require a taxi ride to get to and from.
