We supposed to stay at another hotel in Petra but he was closed for maintenance, so the hostel sent us to Alenbat hotel II. The hotel is just renovated and the rooms are in pretty good state, hope that will continue. You can take a look at the sunset from the roof, or maybe your room if you are on...

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The staff are very helpful, and the joining rooms we had large and suffice. but that is just about where the good experience ended. The pool was absolutely freezing (in Aug?), the breakfast was atrocious with warm powered milk for the kids cereal. No hot water in the rooms, air...

Setting and views are magnificent of mountainous terrain surrounding hotel which is a kilometer or so out of town. Rooms are spacious, staff is low-key but wants to do the right thing by its guests, and they know how to find solutions to whatever your needs may be. After two days of Petra, we ordered up a steam bath and...

This is a good choice for a very reasonably priced stay just 10 minutes away from Petra. Transport to the site is provided free. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff, particularly Hisham, are very flexible with arrangements, very helpful and friendly. Rooms with balconies at back have amazing views and get a lovely fresh breeze. I loved the Turkish bath.

This is a good, serviceable three-star hotel. The room was fairly large for a three-star, the bed was extremely comfortable, breakfast and dinner were good, but the shower was only luke-warm. Don't know how the warm water situation is in Jordan. The hotel is far from Petra but they provided free shuttle service to and from there. They also arranged...

We stayed in Alanbat hotel 3 for 2 days. Our experience was wonderful through out. Anas, the manager ensured that all our requests were handled on time and with a high level of quality. The breakfast while a la carte was more than enough. The rooms were clean. Bath water was plenty and hot whenever one wanted. The view was...

The staff of this hotel are what make it an excellent place to stay whilst visiting Jordan. While we were there they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. The rooms are large and spacious and there is also a great view. A great value for money option :)

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
What began as a name for the masters of the caravans more than 2000 years ago has grown into one of the best and most provisional hotel investments in Petra Region. "Alanbat" is the Arabic name of the Nabataeans, the people who carved Petra, early CBC. Settled in southern Jordan 500 BC, they were expert in water planning & carving. Alanbat Hotels Company was founded in the early 80s by Raja O. Alnawafleh and Brothers. As young men we developed a big area and a small building for a campsite and a hotel. We were the first family of local people of Wadi Mousa town to invest in hotels company and services. We as hotel management have got more than 30 years of experience. Services start with average capacity of 20 poxes; nowadays we have three hotels: Alanbat I (our main location), Alanbat II and Alanbat III. All the new services have been done on our main location to make your visit to Petra and your stay at our hotels amazing and pleasurable. Alanbat hotels can provide you with experienced assistance in getting the most out of your visit to Petra. Our staffs are ready to help you in the soul of Jordanian hospitality. ... more   less
