Simple hotel but clean and welcoming and accommodating - Laith in particular was very helpful. Very good location - walking distance to Petra and close to many restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here. I stayed for 3 nights.

Our stay at Al Rashid while we visited Petra was an enjoyable experience. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and bedding. The room has aircon although we didn't need it at this time of year. Breakfast was typical Jordanian style, with flatbread, boiled eggs, yoghurt, cheese, olives, and a...

I stayed at Al Rashid hotel two weeks ago, when the Arab Summit was taking place and all access to the dead sea was closed. I was there for just two days so decided to do Petra both days. But at the end of Day 1, I approached Laith (the owner) and asked him what to do on the way...

I had friendly conversations with the owner as well as Laith, who was most helpful in arranging transportation and walking through the park, both friendly people. I usually stay in more modern hotels but as this one ranked TA#1 I decided to give it a try. Good bed, bathroom was small and needed some work, you get what you pay...

The Manger Laith is the best, he arranged all the transfers for us with responsible price and fear, also they have excellent driver, speaking English well,...

Stayed there twice on non-consecutive days, so we (a travel companion and me) got to know two different double rooms. Both rooms were very nice and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful and they happily answered any question we asked to our fullest satisfaction.

My husband and I stayed here on vacation. The wifi was fast, the rooms were perfect, and there was a delicious restaurant next door where we could get a discount for staying at the hotel. The staff accommodated our request for a certain room and for an early-morning checkout. The central location was also helpful to exploring the area.
