Based on the positive reviews we stayed three nights here. I wish we hadn't. The hotel is on the busy King's highway and our room faced this street. It wasn't possible to get a quieter room as the hotel was completely full. In between the honking, the trucks, the mosque calling for prayer, we slept poorly. The breakfast buffet is...

I loved this hotel, I found the staff to be helpful, the wifi good and it was amazing to have a pool on the terrace with a great view! Shower temperature was a bit temperamental. There was a supermarket nearby but we got taxis to Petra and into town as it didn't seem to be walkable.

The hotel is just a place to spend the night. We were lucky to get a room facing away from the main road, which is very busy and very noisy. The room has a wall to wall carpet which is not clean. There is a pool on the roof which is nice, but cold. THe roof terrace is nice, but...

One of the best hotels we booked in Jordan. Mikheld from the evening reception is very customer orientated and extremely nice, he made our stay extremely nice ans made us feel at home. He was very receptive and conciliant with our requests. Their restaurant is as well excellent, we ate there the 3 days of our stay and we have...

This hotel has a nice roof top with a lovely view. When they say 3 Star don't expect anything more when it comes to your room. You get what you pay for. There is nothing in the room not even bottled water. Breakfast is very minimal with no fruit. Close to downtown so you can walk to restaurants, corner stores...

The hotel is maybe 10 minutes by car to Petra. There is a supermarket right down the street and the staff is excellent. The manager went out of his way to help us get to the Cave Bar one night and then provided us glasses and ice so we could enjoy a drink on the rooftop terrace. We also enjoyed...

We chose this when looking for a value hotel near to Petra and stayed 2 nights. It's clean and comfy with parking right outside. Numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance and Petra is just over 5 minutes by car

The hotel is located some 10 minutes by car from Petra. Spacious lobby, overall very clean. Non smoking. Very helpful front desk staff. Nice size room and bathroom. Carpets need a good cleaning however. Good breakfast with lots of choices. We had dinner there twice. Local specialities (one chicken dish and the next evening a lamb dish). Both were very...

We stayed two nights in the hotel. Although the rooms were somewhat decent the bathroom was terrible. We had a leaking shower with a cracked shower head. Although the staff tried to attend to the problem it really didn't make it any better. The staff is however very friendly and so we felt that for the price we paid it...

This hotel was modern and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We even ate two dinners in the hotel, both were quite good. The location isn't the best as you are a bit beyond walking distance to reach the archeological site, and there isn't much around the hotel. Lastly, there are rooms with balconies, I had one, but they...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the Seven Wonders Hotel / Petra situated with dramatic views over the town and valley of Wadi Moussa, which houses the ancient city of Petra, now one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. We are a newly built 4* hotel with super-added facilities of a rooftop swimming pool and terrace, and what we believe is the best fitted Turkish Baths suite in Jordan. The hotel is well situated at the upper end of the scenic Wadi Moussa valley and town. It is a short walk from the town center and souk. Although the area generally is hilly, some of the roads being quite steep, the walk from the hotel to the upper part of the town is almost flat and can be undertaken by most reasonably fit people. We are easy to locate, a short drive in on the main access roads from Shawbak and Ma'an, on the right hand side, near to the Police Station. The principle part of the town, and the Petra ancient ruin, is on the same road below us continuing through the valley. Our aim at the hotel is to provide you with a happy experience of Arabia within a comfortable family orientated setting. To this end, we regret we cannot accommodate pets, nor do we serve alcohol inside the hotel, although it is available elsewhere in the town. The building which was completed in 2012 is of a tower design with lift and stairs The lift means it is suitable for elderly and slightly less able bodied guests. We regret bathroom facilities are not adapted for wheelchairs, nor for walking appliances, due to lack of floor space. ... more   less
