The wife and I had a fabulous visit to the Amra Palace Hotel. They treated us courteously, provided delicious food, were an easy walk to Petra, and had a wonderful pool to relax in after a day among the ruins.
The facade and entrence at the Amra Hotel is made up with greens and flowers and with a glimpse of a turquoise pool. Once you ascend the stairs mountains, houses scattered along the hillside and a minaret make up the beautiful vista.

I had the pleasure of staying in this hotel for a couple of nights. It's clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly, and the breakfast is quite good. I would stay there again, and I would certainly recommend it to my friends.
Breakfast is delicious by any standard. The service is terrific (we are talking about relative to the region here ofcourse). The sheets in the bedrooms are crisp and clean. Close enough to the sites. No reason to stay at the Movenpick, obviously the ammeneties are...More
