Stayed here 2 weeks ago, after a high recommendation from friends. Very good value for the money. This hotel is located on the hillside in the town of Petra, so it is not walking distance to the gates of Petra. They will gladly call a taxi for you, and it is in a neat area full of little shops and...

As hotel is located in the town it presented a downhill walk to the gates of Petra but other than the short walk the hotel was brilliant (taxi's are available for the less energetic). Food was great (buffet breakfast and dinner) and the rooms whilst small were very clean and comfortable. Watching the sun go down on the terrace after...

Bit of an initial one-way system journey to get here but very happy with our welcome from all staff- especially the receptionists- and accompanying cold drink. You wouldn't want to walk to Petra too many times from here. Rooms not huge but nice enough and clean (FYI Movenpick is 3 times the price and our experience would not suggest that...

We stayed here two nights as part of a tour group visiting Petra. The hotel is in a remote location away from entrance to the site or shopping areas. Rooms were so tiny that my husband and I could barely find space to open our suitcases simultaneously. There was no drawer space. To get into and out of my side...

Excellent buffet breakfast included in the price and good value for money(7.5 JD) afternoon or evening 4 course buffet dinner you can have compared to what you can find else where in Petra. Some might feel that it's not right at...

The Hotel is located in a prime location of petra city. The room is comfortable and spacious however the bed is not so comfortable. The room is overall clean but there are few corners of the room which are not clean. We only had breakfast here and was ok. Nice and comfortable for short stay.

I stayed 2 nights at Amra Palace in July. I would say it was 4 star hotel and offered best value. The room was very clean, breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staffs were helpful and professional Good location. But what we disappointed was no free wifi. We needed to pay extra. Overall it is very nice hotel indeed.

The Amra is a 3 star property that provided exactly what we were looking for on our visit to Petra. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and good. The staff were welcoming and efficient. They had a turkish bath there as well, with a jacuzzi and indoor pool. The jacuzzi...

We enjoyed our stay in this old and charming hotel. The buffet dinner and breakfast were both quite good as was the patio setting overlooking the town. We loved the sound of the call to prayer, reminding us of where we are and the culture we were learning about. Rooms were small but perfectly adequate.
