Wonderful hotel with great service. Hotel's design, cleanliness and facilities are amazing - one couldn't wish for more. Service is personalized, prompt and discreet. Special thanks to Belal from reception. He made us feel genuinely welcomed. He was helpful, competent and tactful at the same time. We left with lots of positive impressions and hope to come back one day.
As a platinum Accor member was offered a suit which was very pleasant and comfortable. Perfectly clean, great amenities. Lots of TV channels. The restaurant serves delicious international and Jordanian dishes: probably the best grilled chicken that I have ever had. Am already missing this hotel. One should plan at least 3 nights at this property. Very close to the entrance to Petra UNESCO site.
We stayed one night on our tour of Jordan. We did enjoy our stay here despite some small disappointments. We settled into our third room kindly escorted by the front desk manager. The first two rooms had assorted smells of smokers and whiffs of sewer. The third room was fine although a bit 'basic' and warm. We slept with windows open to mitigate the heat build up from the day. Although a/c air was blowing into the room, it was warmish. We had dinner in the lobby area just outside the bar. We selected mezze and drinks which were enjoyable. The server supervisor seemed to have an attitude problem when we gave him some feedback on the food and service. Breakfast buffet was great with good selection and service. Most of the staff were on the ball and attentive.
The talk is few, but the meanings are many. I am an American citizen and I have a family. We decided to come for a visit to the magical city of Petra. Our first family visit, but what I saw of the splendor of the place and the beauty of the area surprised us all. Also from a welcome and a smile that means a lot to us. We enjoyed the trip and the most beautiful service provided by Mr. Mohammed Jamil. While eating ice cream and the cafe. His constructive welcome and talking to us about the area. He advised us to stay at Mövenpick Petra, but our stay was at another hotel. The best staff and gentlemen and dealing.... We have a close visit to this hotel and the special service...
We very much enjoyed our stay here. It was ideal for our purpose, which was to visit Petra. It's right across the street. The hotel is very pleasant and has all the facilities you could want. But more than anything, all of the staff were were extremely helpful. This is an ideal base for visiting Petra.
Hotel location is steps away from Petra’s main entrance. Beautiful hotel and great service. Great food selection including gluten free options. Rooms were clean and service was great. Highly recommended.
When you talk about Petra and the splendor of its people, I am talking about a person who expresses good hospitality and generosity. On our first visit to Petra, and when we sit at the Mövenpick Petra and eat ice cream, the welcome ceremony was built by Mr. Muhammad Jamil. We were invited to products and ice cream, excellent service, and I found great hospitality there. by Mr.Muhammad
It should be said that this review comes based on living at the hotel for a number of year but having been away for 2-years because of C-19. Going back after such a long time away was truly a feeling akin to returning home, the hotel team are exceptional and seeing all of their faces after such a long time was a reminder of how much I enjoyed my time there. The rooms are always clean, the food options are massive and the facilities are just great. If you go to Petra then I can not recommend this hotel enough. Thanks to the entire team who made my stay so memorable.
The Movenpick is right across from the entrance to Petra and the hotel is lovely. Breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are comfortable, the rooftop restaurant is lovely and the pool is welcoming. After a hot day of hiking in Petra, it was so nice to relax by the pool. Zaid was very attentive and offered lovely drinks and mezze by the pool. I highly recommend!
Good morning to all Mövenpick employees All thanks, appreciation and gratitude for the distinguished service and welcome by some of the staff. Good luck and hospitality, good hospitality, service, service, service, service, kiss, and special thanks to Mr. Mohamed Jamil for the service we provided before him last night and our breakfast inside the restaurant. Thanks and all thanks. We wish a happy life. ...we will be back again
