My wife and I stayed here on Saturday when we were going to a local restaurant to meet with some friends. Our room was in a converted stable which was comfortable, warm and with the best range of teas and toiletries I have ever seen. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and Brian the host is a wonderful man....

This is about 10 mins from Southwell and not much more from Newark, so it is also a good spot to break a journey when travelling north. It is a little quirky and we had the garden room. It included everything, even a microwave, though we didn't use it. Lots of differing soaps in the bathroom, a choice of teas...

We stayed in a cosy Dovecoat out in the garden of a Racecourse Farm. We had a very warm welcome from Brian who was a great host. Breakfast was tip top, with a great selection to set you up for the day. In the event that you are going to a wedding in this area, this is about 15 minutes...

My wife and I were booked into the Barn at Racecourse Farm and we were concerned and apprehensive having read the critic from the gentleman from Stoke on Trent. Having arrived we were pleasantly surprised by what we found. Yes the barn is relatively small but as big as a lot of Hotel and B and B guest rooms and...

A lovely location for this B&B next to the church in a quiet village. I stayed in the little converted barn in the garden for four nights while in the area on business. It was kitted out for a long stay guest who had booked after I had so I'm afraid he was deprived of a couple of his normal...

Stayed overnight with a friend in a twin room. We were attending an evening race meeting at Southwell Racecourse. The racecourse is a half mile stroll along a country lane. Racecourse farm is located in a delightfully quiet part of the village of Rolleston, next door to the church. There is plenty of room to park your car. Our twin...

We made the trip in order to visit our daughter at the nearby Brackenhurst Campus of Nottingham Trent University. Sadly we did not meet Kay, but Brian gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel completely at home. Sumptuous accommodation, REAL MILK in small fridges in the bedrooms (thankyou!!) along with a wide range of other hot and...

We booked here as it was very close to the racecourse. I have to say Brian & Kay are a lovely couple and very friendly hosts. Our room was excellent, it was very clean & comfortable and everything was of a high standard. The room also had all the required amenities including a really good selection of different teas/coffees. Brian...
