Great little quiet farm in the middle of a banana plantation. Tranquil place to relax and find yourself. Beautiful gardens. Food is amazing. Personnel try to make you feel at home. Pools are fantastic. 20 minutes from sister hotel by the beach (Azúcar). Would definitely go back for a quiet weekend getaway. Be prepared for shabby chic!

The property is awesome, and very well taken care of. However, the service is very slow. In the room the outlets don't work, there is no plate to store clothing but only hangers, a/c is very very noisy, you can't sleep with it on, the bathroom has no space or place to put your deodorant, you have to place your...

I have never stayed in the hotel itself but I have been there a few times to have lunch/dinner. I have been shown arounf the hotel and seen the rooms. They are very nice and beautifully decorated. When you drive through the banana plantation and down through the gates of Maison, its like going through a time warp. Its surrounded...

Maison Couturier is keeping a French touch but in fact is now totally Mexican. Overall it is a pleasant stop in the Veracruz state except for the potholes on the state roads. Avoid highway 129 west, a return to 180 is better.

Visited Maison Couturier during Easter 2011. The hotel is sorrounded by plantations that generate a beautiful smell all day long. Stayed at one of the new rooms that are built outside the main house and it was great: wooden blinders that turn the room completely dark, perfect air conditioning and absolute silence. Perfect for long naps. Decoration in the rooms...

This hotel is in the middle off a small town called San Rafael. The hotel is full of details, nice gardens, friendly staff, and vintage furniture. The only thing that they should improve is the food. When you think about french food you always expect very exquisite dishes but that didn't happened during our stay. We didn't find any romantic...

THe hotel is very small (only 9 rooms) very nicely designed with a lot of vintage articles which work, has an excellent food, is surrounded by tropical vegetation and offers many different activities to do (From white ater rafting to horseback riding and...

I visited Maison Couturier for my aniversary, and it was a wonderful romantic place. We enjoyed dinning in an antique house dinning room, with a good cup of wine. And next morning we traveled with some bikes maison borrowed us, to xicaltepec a marveolus town full of culture and tradition. In the evening we were doing kitesurf at a nearby...

We stayed here when the hotel was just recently opened. I brought my parents to visit Veracruz and had heard about this new hotel from a friend. The arrival is through a banana plantation road where you arrive at an old French colonial Maison from the owners family. We arrived rather late at night and were warmly greeted by the...
