Excellent, central location, pretty safe with street parking. Right opposite the Navy base. The staff were welcoming and prepared to go the extra distance to make our visit comfortable by, for example, organising very early opening or the breakfast room and laundry and even cooking a large fish that we caught. Comfortable for an historic building if understandably basic.

Loved our stay at the guest house over looking the quayside and all the yachts and boats, the view is stunning while sitting on the balcony and sipping your cocktails and drinks.A lot to see on George's Street, museums, restaurants and pubs, etc.Rooms clean and tidy and spacious. All antique is what I like.Enjoyed my stay.

As regular visitors to the Central Hotel we have always enjoyed the fine hospitality from all the staff. As a group we visit each Friday for the breakfast which is always top notch especially for the hungry. The Full English (R40) consists of 2 eggs to order, serious helping of bacon, savoury mince, pork banger served with onions, mushrooms and...

Located centrally in Simonstown, but probably the worst place to stay. Furniture is broken. Appliances like the microwave (which was dirty and squeaky) and irons randomly placed in the passage like a halfhalfway house. The receptionist is not a people's person at all. I've stayed in other B&B's in Simonstown and had a lovely stay everytime, but the Central Hotel's...

Super friendly staff. Close to some restaurants and the pier. Short drive to Boulder's Beach and other beaches. Can drive to Cape Point in 20 mins. Comfortable room. Nicely furnished. Good breakfast. Outdoor seating area.

Rooms are very old and even room 9 at the back was noisy. The geyser for the room next door was in our bathroom. Beds were not very comfortable. Parking is on the main road and is a problem during the day. The highlights were the very good breakfast and the friendly staff. Overall not value for money at the...

Stayed here one night to visit the cape & the nearby penguins. Location is good and walking distance to all in this a village. Rooms on the road side become very noisy around 5.30am, ask for a room in the back. Understood from other quests they didn't hear anything. Breakfast is nice with a great ocean view. For the money...

Quaint little guest house. We had room no 8 and that was pleasant, however ask for room 1,2 or 3 as they lead straight into the sea view balcony. The staff are extremely friendly and can't do enough for you, they even gave me a stamp for my complimentary postcard. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Simon's Town is a nice...

I spent one night here in Simon's Town on July 5th as I was doing some shark cage diving Saturday and Sunday. It was easier staying here than going back and forth to Cape town. Malinda, the owner, really can't do enough to make sure you're comfortable and satisfied. Great location in the heart of town, and only about 30...
