We spent 3 days conferencing at this Lodge and we had so much fun. The accomodation is superb, with fireplaces in each chalet. The rooms have these quirky old things that are interesting to look at, they take you back in time. The staff will gladly start the fire for you. The place is so relaxing, and have so many...

Picture the setting, all thatch building rambling around an old farm, sun setting, beautiful bedrooms, elephants drinking around the water hole, about to have an ice cold glass of sauv blanc and wow the waitress throws a glass of wine over you, granted it was by mistake. We have made several day trips to Plumari before, arriving in time from Johannesburg for a relaxing lunch. This time round we were directed to the new section, which has been build further up the koppie from the original farmhouse. i stayed at Plumari for 4 days for a friends wedding and some relaxation before starting the garden route trip. it was utterly fabulous, the staff were magnificant and could not do enough for you. the rooms were immaculate and the food fantastic. we did several game drives plus a few guided walks and the staff really went out of...

To follow-up on my sister's review of Plumari, on our return, I immediately sent a lengthy letter to Plumari to raise the issues we had encountered during our stay.
