Don't expect a lot of luxury but it was basic and comfortable. The staff were really nice and the tents were comfortable enough. Expect basic, but then again you aren't spending much time there. I loved the surroundings and it was nice to relax with a view of the forest. I found the food decent and there was lots of...

We arrived ridiculously early in the morning and where served breakfast which was lovely at the time but we thought it was included and then it wasn't.. Other than that the stay was great, very peaceful and it couldn't be closer to the gorilla trekking centre. The rooms are nice but bathrooms are outside. The restaurant area has wifi which...

The location in the park is excellent, the food is very good. Comfortable accommodations, hot showers. But... the manager was very friendly until he tried unsuccessfully to advise us towards the full board option. There are several much more affordable and good quality options to eat, less than five minutes walk away from this place. We were already paying $53...

Well, since Buhoma is probably the most frequented of the 3 Bwindi Gorilla tracking locations, prices in the village for accommodation are unreasonably high and the services and standard provided in return is pathetic. Since not everyone can (and wants) to stay in a $400 per person/per night luxury lodge, we decided to go for one of the few “budget”...

Spent a night at this lovely lodge. Great views, comfy room and friendly staff. A bit expensive but definitely better value than the other options in Buhoma. Also the funds are used for community uplift mentioned so that's a great reason to stay.

Budget accomodation in the rain forest. This is my best place to stay in Buhoma station. Like every hotels in Uganda, Staff very friendly. Food is good but not excellent. Tent are clean and has got enough place for your luggages. Tents are inside the forest, you can see monkeys very close to your tent ! Great experience.

We stayed for 2 nights as part of our exodus trip to see the gorillas. Camp within the forest so great views but the tents have rainforest dampness about them. The tents are small and there is nowhere to store or hang clothes which is annoying. Good showers with hot water. Staff very friendly and attentive, food good. Enjoyed our...

We did our Gorilla trekking in Buhoma, Uganda this August and had the best of time spending the 1 hour with the beautiful mountain gorillas...A once in a lifetime experience for sure and well worth the price!!! To add to the experience, we stayed at Buhoma community camp which is a great budget option in an otherwise expensive area....We even...

The rest camp is very basic. The room was small with two twin-size beds and bathroom facilities. There is little to no room to move around and no where to put your luggage. The floor was a bit dirty/muddy when we entered and the toilet had a small leak. The shower was basic but worked. They heat the water with...
