Nice Hotel with decent staff and real great food which according to me was tasty and not that spicy...... The rooms are huge and so are the toilets..... there was a problem with water but I could understand the reason why as some rooms are under renovation... never the less once the reception was informed water was made available. We stayed here 1 night as we had a very early bus to catch the next day. The proximity to the bus station is probably the only good point we can mention. The reception staff were polite and helpful. This is a Himichal Tourist hotel which to us seemed a little odd as surely it is not the type of...

We had booked a room at Kunal for two days, only the day before we arrived in Dharamsala. The taxi took us there, from Gaggal airport,(the minimum rate seems to be Rs 500) ,just 15 kms or so, and we found the place literally empty as it was off-season...The latest reviews of the hotel had ,of course, prepared us for the worst...

Location is good - on the main road, leading to bus-stand, and the market. Spacious rooms, ample parking, restaurant provides good food. Discourteous staff, stinking bed / linen, old and not-maintained property (of hptdc). Bathrooms seem to be recently renovated, so they are good.

A value for money place to stay. A HPTDC owned hotel. Good house keeping, courteous, helpful staff. You may also download the HPTDC application for your smartphone for detailed handy information. Serene surroundings compared to the market place.

This hotel is just places in between the two markets of dharamshala. The price is decent being an hptdc hotel. Now they have started booking online which makes booking very easy. The service and food is good. The place misses a scenic view though.

We took this hotel as it was closest to the bus stand from where all Volvos start and our trek was supposed to start from here early morning. The rooms are basic, bathrooms are below basic. But as its HP state tourism, the sense of security was there.
