The rooms and their bathrooms are basic. The beds have mosquito nets. You will need them! Nice swinging hammocks outside to relax. Restaurant does nice meals. I had the aloo dum masala and liked it so much, I went back the next night for more. However, there are lots of nice places to eat outside the guesthouse. The laundry is...

I wish we had stayed in Hampi longer, what a nice little place, cottages overlooking the paddy fields with hammocks on the porches. The wait staff were brilliant and helpful, the setting is so gorgeous, I highly recommend!!

Stayed at this guest house in the garden facing room for 2 days. The owner Mr.Krishna is polite and gentle. The staff are courteous. The room had great ambience that made my my stay peaceful and relaxing. The room had a verendah with swing, where one could lie down and unwind. Makes a perfect setting to relax after a long day's...

Stayed two nights here Dec 2016 as part of our Intrepid South India Unplugged tour. Basic but clean. Restaurant did some nice vege curries and has a nice outlook over adjacent paddy fields. About a 10 min walk and boat ride to the ruins. Hired two push bikes from nearby and a 7 km bike to the lake and about...

Basic rooms, as you'd expect from a guest house. Minimally provided - they have a open wardrobe made from Bamboo sticks, an air cooler, an open cupboard. The bathrooms are average, didn't face any issues except for hot water availability on day 1, which got resolved. My room was facing the paddy fields and there is a wooden board swing...

Another small Indian guesthouse that could be amazing. It is in a beautiful setting and has a very nice ambience, but the rooms have been neglected. It just need some one to come in and fix missing bit of wall, someone to properly clean the bathroom including the corners of the floor and around the basin and toilet. Outside there...

We had rooms facing paddy fields, which was literally 10 m away from our room. The rooms arent anything fancy, they are mud and hatch, clean rooms. There will be occasional lizard, but that is what you get if you want to stay as close to nature. We loved the paddy fields swishing all night and crickets chirping. Food is...

OK so the title sounds like ridiculously high praise, but it is one of my favourite places. I must have stayed here between 15 and 20 times. I've been living in Bangalore for over seven years, and when friends come to visit they inevitably want to go to Hampi - it's also a favourite weekend get away with friends from...

Shanthi Guest house is on the other side of river - opposite to the main Hampi temple. So you will have to cross the river in boat or drive down. Its nice simple accommodation where you can relax. It has small huts/cottages & rooms. Rooms are clean, with mosquito net and cottages have a beautiful sit-out. Good food like anywhere...
