Not very clean but better than others in the area. Really good food. Perfect for an official budget visit. The staff is very sweet and helpful. Good buffet services. The rooms along the main road r better as they have openable windows.
Good enough to stay again in this hotel. Value for money in such a affordable price. Awesome service and friendly staff, nice location. Services are value for money. The room was nice and comfortable. Food provided was nice. Would recommend to anyone who is planning to stay in a budget hotel in Bhopal. Overall a good hotel.
The location is great. Staffs are efficient. The breakfast timing is kind of a late timing which begins from 8 o clock. And the kitchen is in-efficient to some extent. They provided us pick up service which was really good and to be appreciated.
I spent more than a month here. The rooms are clean and have plenty of space. The breakfast we had was very good everyday, but what I liked the staff of the hotel. THEY ARE THE NICEST PEOPLE. I really recommend it!👌
Alankar Palace is a centrally located hotel which has decently sized rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is at a walking distance from the railway station and can be a great place to stay when you are booked for an odd hour train.
Had stayed in this hotel while on a short visit to Bhopal. The hotel is nice in all aspect, right from the check in (they allowed early check in). Food was very good in breakfast and well maintained common spaces along with cleanliness. It is a basic hotel with not much to do but tick mark all the aspect of bare minimum necessities for a no frills place to stay. Price is also value for money here
Good hotel with good facilities except hot water takes a while, very good breakfast, daily housekeeping, clean, helpful staff, walk to the DB Mall, in upscale MP Nagar area, price negotiable, wifi fast but need to request vouchers (suggestion for hotel: make it voucher-less)
I visited this hotel and stayed there for two nights. Location is good and very near (walking distance) to Habibganj railway station. It is a small hotel with around 20+ rooms. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are also moderate in size and clean. Has a small restaurant. Breakfast is good and has limited variety but good in taste. Rooms service is good and staff is helpful. Overall a good business hotel.
While on a long drive of 1400 kms from Pune to Agra we had selected Bhopal as our pit stop for the night. We were looking for a reasonable bed & breakfast accommodation facility without too many frills and Alankar Palace satisfied the criteria completely. I was a bit skeptical about the place having read a few reviews on TripAdvisor so I called up the hotel before booking and had an honest chat with the Manager Mr. Sandeep Dubey who tried to clarify my doubts but was honest about the parking scenario. Since the conversation felt sincere I decided to go ahead with the booking and I definitely didn't regret it. Location - It's located a bit on the interior side but I was able to drive my SUV without a lot of issues during evening when the traffic is supposedly less in intensity. However to be honest it's not centrally located on a wide road by any stature of imagination either. Parking - This is a bit of a pain area as the space is limited to 4-5 cars right in front of the hotel by the side of the road. I wasn't quite thrilled about the idea but the Manager had told me before about it and I went ahead so can't really complain on this point but it would be great if some improvement can be done on this one. In the end I didn't quite face any problems with the overnight parking but was still a bit concerned to say the least. Rooms - We had gone for a standard type of room that came with a queen size bed with good quality of spring mattress. Also an extra mattress was provided for our daughter of 7 years which was fair enough as well. Room was pretty ok space wise though after the extra mattress it became a bit congested but we were not there to run so worked fine for an overnight stay. The fixtures and overall ambience was pretty good and came across as freshly designed. The wifi was pretty basic with an average speed of less then 512Kbps, you could do some browsing and stuff with that though the cost was included in the room rent already. The Washroom - It was again pretty clean and came with the usual washroom toiletries and towels etc. A separate set of bathroom slippers were provided as well. The breakfast - This was pretty decent as well having the following items - tea, coffee, fruity juice, chholay bhature, poha, cheese sandwich, onion bhajiya and idli sambhar. The food fare was tasty and was served with good care by Mr.Yadav who looks after the restaurant. The staff - I found the reception and restaurant staff to be courteous and friendly while the junior staff for room service and housekeeping came across as people who require a bit more polishing while conversing with guests but nothing really to complain about. Value for Money - It definitely was a Value for Money deal @ 1500 bucks through Makemytrip. Despite parking being a touchy issue, my overall stay was fantastic and I would definitely want to stay here if given a chance for the same price :)…
Make my trip Booking Id: NH7106534906536 and NH7106334907204 My name is Vinod Kumar Prajapati and I am working in NTPC Limited (a govt. of India Enterprises) as Manager. I have booked this hotel for 2 days (18.09.2016 to 20.09.2016)from make my trip. I went to Bhopal with my wife. During check in receptionist of this hotel misbhaved and talked rudely with me and my wife. Due to his behaviour we forced to leave their hotel and bokked another nearby hotel Shri Vatika Palace. They demanded marriage certificate from us. Generally I do not carry marriage certificate. I have shown my and my wifes Adhar Card and Voter Id card. I have also shown some marriage photographs which I have saved in my mobile. I have also shown my govt. ID card ( I am central government employee). But, they didn't accepted this and firmed on marriage certificate. I still not understand who have authorized a receptionist of a hotel to demand marriage certificate. Generally no one carries marriage certificate . This was also not mentioned in booking voucher of Make my trip. In booking voucher only valid Id proof was mentioned which we wre shown. If this is mandatory then why they do not ask scan cooy of it during booking. Immediately I have complained with make my trip but their response was also not good and they informed us they will return your money only if hotel returned money to make my trip. As I have immediately left the hotel and still not received my booked amount. I have requested to all of you please do not travel to this hotel. This hotel is not for family and couples. Hotel staff is very unprofessional and rude. Hotel is also very cheap quality (don't analyze by viewing make my trip rating ). This was the my biggest mistake to book this hotel. Also dont believe on make my trip. I also requested to Trip Adviser please take this review seriously and do not recommend this hotel for any family or couple. My mobile no is 9425281323. You can also call in my mobile.…
