My wife and I visited Nafplio at the end of March this year and stayed at the Aetoma Hotel. Though called a hotel its more like staying with good friends or family. Akis and his mother ( the proprietor's ) took such good care of our wants and needs on a daily basis that we just felt right at home....

We picked the Aetoma Hotel for our one night in the charming town of Nafplio. When we pulled up to the hotel (in a small square in the town), Akis greeted us and told us how lucky we were because there was a parking spot right in front on the square. We hadn't noticed it - it was that small...

I can honestly say that of all the reviews I have written this is a true pleasure to write! We spent 13 days in Greece, eleven in Athens and 2 in Nafplio. Let me first say Hotel Aetoma is a Bed and Breakfast and as such offers a high degree of Personal service. When arriving Panagiota (owner) greeted us and...

Located in the charming old town and only minutes from the bus stop, Aetoma hotel is among the nicest places we have ever stayed in. It starts with a warm greeting from the owners when you enter the place and continues with a well appointed and comfortable room. The room is large, has a very comfortable bed and is very...

We stayed three nights at this wonderful modern and inviting hotel in Nafplio. The staff, principally consisting of Akis and his mother, were very special indeed. They greeted us everyday with an incredible homemade breakfast and then offered all of their expert advice as to all the great spots in and around Nafplio for dining, walking and exploring. The room...

My wife and I stayed here on an overnight trip to Nafplio from Athens. Aki and Panayiota showed absolute devotion to caring for their guests, the breakfast was a feast (if you stay in the top-floor Akrokeramo room they bring breakfast to your large balcony), and the room was absolutely lovely and comfortable. As one reviewer said, avoid this place...

This hotel is more of a bed and breakfast and is simply outstanding. We were greeted in front of the hotel by the owners, who quickly took our luggage up stairs for us. Then Akis, came with us to our car and directed us where to park, since some of the streets to the hotel had been temporarily closed to...

We spent four nights here in early March while visiting archaeological sites. We love Nafplio and we love this hotel. Great hospitality, great decor, completely comfortable and well run. The breakfasts are lavish and we were always given our leftovers to enjoy as a picnic lunch. We parked down at the harbour and walked up, which gave us a chance...

Great experience. Excellent location quiet corner of old town. Excellently maintained comfortable room. Great breakfast kept us going all day. Customer care from Akes and his mother Panagiota was exceptional. Brilliant orientation with credible tips on where to go (and where not to) helped us enjoy our days and evenings in Nafplion. Many Thanks - we would certainly come again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In Nafplion, a city of magical breeze and unique history, a revamped mansion of the 18th century combines the beauty of the past with the comforts of the present and creates the ideal environment for relaxation and exceptional holidays. The neoclassical luxury appears in each of the 5 hospitable rooms, one of which seems like it slipped silently and took its place in the loft. Visitors feel immediately that they have found both a familiar and unique place. ... more   less
