We spent two nights in this charming, small family-owned hotel. A delicious, generous breakfast was served on our balcony each morning by the delightful owner and her son. We could walk easily down to the seaport, and loved the sound of the church bells from the nearby Orthodox church. The views of the Palamidi Castle were wonderful, as we had...

We selected this small family hotel in nafplio on the basis of previous recommendations on tripadvisor. It exceeded all our expectations and was among the best bed and breakfast hotels we ever stayed in. It only has 5 rooms and in spite of a mistake I had made in the reservation dates we were given a standard room, which turned...

As recommended by Tripadvisor, we stayed in the Aetoma Guesthouse November 19 and 20, 2012. This was the most pleasant lodging experience we had in Greece! The guesthouse is located in the Old Town which was chaming, and had been the family home of the present owner for the past 150 years. Pan, the proprietor showed us the bedroom that...

We stayed two nights late October 2012, and echo all the previous comments and reviews. Akis, the son of the establishment was most helpful with recommendations, directions, even programmed our gps. Lovely and comfortable room with charming and tasteful Italian furnishings. We had no problem parking right outside the hotel. Found the entire town interesting and extremely well situated to...

I expected our 3 night stay to be good from all the positive reviews. The service, the rooms, the bed, the outstanding breakfast everything was beyond expectations. The parking has been mentioned as an issue but the problem was taken away by Akis who just took the car keys from me and moved it to a space when one was...

We spent three nights in Nafplio at the Aetoma and can heartily recommend it. It's very well placed in the old town, so a short walk to / from all the attractions and restaurants. The rooms are high-ceilinged, well appointed, fresh, clean and comfortable. Our family hosts were very attentive. The breakfast was extensive and tasty (particularly the local cheese...

Staying here was a lovely experience with a very comfortable, well furnished room and a very nice bathroom. The reception was very welcoming with complimentary coffee and cakes offered. Breakfast was excellent with yogurt, bacon and omelette, a choice of breads, cakes and ham and cheese. We wouldn't normally stretch ourselves to paying as much as €80 for a night...

We felt as though we were special guests in a gracious historic home. Panayiota, and her son Akis, take very seriously the description of their delightful boutique establishment as a “family hotel”. It doesn’t feel like a hotel at all. It feels like your home, where a member of the family who cares about your every need and want is...

Wonderful family run property. Akis and his mother cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable. They are wonderful people who will make you feel like a member of the family. Great breakfasts and personalized tourist information. Ask any question and they will try to help. Read all the other great reviews. Make this your first booking choice.

This is a small hotel that is centrally located in Nafplio. We couldn't find fault with the room, with the genuine warmth and hospitality of the owner and her son. Maps, touring suggestions, where to eat, where to park, how best to get from A to B. This is the sort of small family hotel where you are welcomed as...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In Nafplion, a city of magical breeze and unique history, a revamped mansion of the 18th century combines the beauty of the past with the comforts of the present and creates the ideal environment for relaxation and exceptional holidays. The neoclassical luxury appears in each of the 5 hospitable rooms, one of which seems like it slipped silently and took its place in the loft.
