For me the two most important things about a holiday hotel are location and sleep quality. The Gran Hotel scores top points on both these areas. It is pretty much in the centre of the lovely town, with the main square and cathedral just round the corner where there are great bars, shops and restaurants. The station is just up...

I premise that we were not guests of the hotel, but we were around Soller and we decided to have lunch there. Unfortunately we realized that we had forgotten our wallet at the hotel where we were staying, in Llucmajor . We had only 30 euro and passing we saw at the entrance of the hotel's restaurant a proposed a...

Maybe not quite 5 star, but very comfortable, and stylish with its collection of modern art, and the perfect base for exploring the tramuntana. (Soller itself is a delight). My only criticism of the hotel was that when we were there the buffet breakfast was decidedly sparse, but I can't say it spoiled our stay. I notice that for what...

Stayed in late October, loved Soller and the hotel. All the staff on reception were friendly and helpful (suggested some great walks, Deia being one). Superb breakfast orchestrated by the head waitress, nothing too much trouble.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Soller is our favourite place un the world. The location is perfect and the pool area is lovely. We really enjoyed the breakfast but a menu of what was available would be helpful. The mature lady at breakfast was just great! Our room was fine and perfectly clean but the hotel overall was a little...

We had two nights here in October and overall were pleased with our stay. Firstly we found the staff very pleasant and helpful, our room was reasonable although it would have been nice to have at least one English channel on the TV. Breakfast could have been better although we really enjoyed the setting of breakfast outside in the front...

We had a lovely, relaxing holiday in this hotel. The staff (reception, waiters & domestic) were very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The buffet breakfast was excellent but we would have liked a menu on the table showing "hot food" choices as we were a bit unsure of what was available to order on our first morning. We only ate dinner...

We stayed for 9 nights at the end of Sept. this is a wonderful hotel with a slightly old fashioned class to it. The rooms & their facilities are very good. The location of the hotel could not be better right in the heart of Soller. The dinner menu in the hotel we felt was not of a 5 star...

This is an excellent hotel, staffed by excellent people and providing excellent service and great value for money. Okay, it was not without some minor shortcomings at breakfast time but these were more a reflection of a certain very likable quirkiness about the place and, for my wife and I, they were more than compensated for by the genuine friendliness...
