A lovely old building. The room was very nice and comfortable, with a window facing trees and a garden. I stayed two nights with a tour group. The bathroom was not very clean (black mould in the shower, dirt around the edges of the floor, especially behind the radiator WIFI was very poor to not working at all. In the...

Friendliest and most efficient staff, from welcoming reception to amusing dining room ladies, we have experienced in 8 years and over 40 Paradors, with excellent breakfasts and dinner menus and service. Location in the centre of beautiful Santillana with easy car parking and in early June very few visitors in the town. Excellent centre for Santander and Cantabrian coast and...

This is another lovely Parador situated in the middle,of a small town that has been preserved lovingly. It is as if you are transported back in time. The architecture of this town is wonderful. The Parador is in a great locations for wandering through the town and coming back for a break or refreshment, Hope to return again!

What a beautiful Parador. The rooms were comfortable & quiet. Old furniture that fitted the age of the Parador. Breakfasts very good served in the hotel. With a Restaurant just across the road for evening meals. Lovely friendly people. Plenty of parking which is a necessity. A great position to walk, explore, eat and drink.

This place is so cute! It's old school but very pretty. It has a bed and breakfast feel to it. I loved the service and vibe. The breakfast was extra but they had a large selection. The town is super cute, don't wear heels because it's all cobblestone. Loved it!

The place is a bit old but in a great secluded spot. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms transmit noise, however. Avoid anything near lift, kitchen, etc. You will get used to the flushing and creaking sounds of other rooms or just bring earplugs. Excellent breakfast with loads of very well cut pata negra, the breakfast of champions. This all...

After driving through Santillana's narrow streets, we arrived at this extremely attractive Parador with it's own parking- a real bonus in such an ancient village! The welcome was excellent- we were provided with lots of information and a map of the village, then escorted to our room with luggage carried for us. The room was a very good size and...

Apparently Jean Paul Sartre called Santillana the prettiest village in Spain. Who can argue with that? We certainly enjoyed our two day stay in the Parador de Santillana, the more modern of the two ( Gil Blas is the other one nearby) with which facilities are shared. Very comfortable, welcoming, clean with good size rooms and an excellent breakfast. Didn't...

This place was rather stressful to find, but once there it did not disappoint. Plus with a TomTom it takes you right there, its just extremely windy and cobbled. However, the hotel is lovely. Lovely service and excellent breakfast as per usual. The only complaint I have is that at 6am there was a huge amount of door slamming and...
