Although the bike's GPS could not find the address, the village is very small and we were able to easily locate the hotel. Our room was the largest of all during our three week adventure trip in Spain & Portugal. The facility was clean and the staff was very helpful with respect to the local attractions and restaurants.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Room spacious but restricted due to pitch of roof. Parking possible in front of hotel. Nice breakfast. Easy accessible from main road. Close to old city. Cafeteria provides drinks 24h.

We stayed 2 nights during our tour of Northern Spain. The hotel is in a nice, quiet location but it is only around 5 minute walk to the old town. There is lots of free parking nearby. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were very good....

A satisfactory shelter for a night in an obviously very popular location. Large room, bed and bathroom are wellcome. But under staffed service, lack of dining room and not enough attention to details of comfort and taste are less so. To some up a glorified motel more than a 4 stats hotel.

The location is definitely its prime attribute. Our room was very spacious with an absolutely massive double bed (8ft at least) high ceilings. No air conditioning in use during our visit. The staff (actually we mainly saw one girl who was efficient & polite) who ran reception & the rather limited but adequate bar. The Hotel is described as peaceful....

A family run, friendly and comfortable hotel in a great location. Lovely old building in synche with this medieval town, with a great terrace in front overlooking a village green. The room was large and comfortable with free wifi.

We very much enjoyed staying at Casona del Revolgo in Santillana del Mar. The location turned out to be excellent - in walking distance of the historical site, but far away ebough from the main road to be quiet. The service was professional, the guesthouse is beautiful and breakfast was good. A perfect place to spend a night or two...

really comfortable and quiet with friendly and helpful staff, copious breakfast buffet and ideal location. The local skittles game is in the tree-lined park opposite, the medieval town a short walk, with plenty of excellent restaurants to choose from and catering for all budgets. Santillana is ideally located for walks in the hills or along the very craggy coastline, to...

We needed a place near the archaeological caves so we picked La Casona de Revoigo in Santillana del Mar. The place was clean. The room was not fancy but it served our purposes for our one night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful
