It is located at the corner of the heart of the ancient town. Very nice room, but due to this old building a very small room with look to the backyard. They have free parking space in front of the Hotel.

I loved Hotel Santillana, it truly felt like I was back in time. Rooms were simply decorated and sitting areas around felt like you were back in time with all of the antiques. I did not give it 5 stars because of the lack of air conditioning. We went in August and it was very hot, we opened the windows...

What an interesting place! The receptionist (and owner?) was very friendly - ask her about the clocks that her parents bought and display in the hotel: fascinating! Room was very acceptable, although the carpet was a bit worn down (after the August rush?), and the shower needed a bit of servicing. All round, a friendly, family hotel, full of character....

This hotel is located on the corner of a busy intersection in Santillana, so you really need to watch yourself when crossing the road and paying attention from traffic from 2 major roads intersecting in front of the hotel. Hotel parking is free, however, they are limited in space, as they also share parking with a sister hotel. Approximately only...

Do not visit in August! Parking is a joke. Thousands jamming the streets and "park down the street" instructions are an insult. Rooms and general condition rudimentary but they have captive audience. Avoid

What can we say? A beautiful hotel with great staff. The bedroom was spotless and quiet.Even the dog slept in. The public areas were tastefully furnished with antiques and 'to die for' sofas. Walked around Santillana the next day (Sunday) and mingled with tourists, pilgrims and locals in the cobbled ancient streets. The whole place was a delight and far removed...

It was not our choice, we were sent here from another hotel that had overbooked us. The rooms we were offered, the only ones available at our arrival were on the 3rd and last floor. They were very small, with super small windows and smelled like mold and dust. Surprisingly, the beds that looked too small and uninviting turned out...

This hotel is rather dated that's true, however this does help to keep in with the character of the building and you could easily lounge around on one of the sofas and pretend to be in a bygone era. That being said this is a hotel and the rooms could do with being refurbished - maybe a freshen up would...
