We stayed here for 3 nights and were overwhelmed from the first second. The host was really nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and everything was perfectly clean and the bathroom looked new. The view from the house is breathtaking and the area is really calm and quiet. Perfect for a couple relaxed days. It is even better than... More

We stayed at Colonsay B&B last night (16 June) and can honestly say that it is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. Kalie was so welcoming (as was Isla the collie!) and the room was cosy and spotlessly clean. The view from the guest sitting room/conservatory was amazing and we were happy to sit there and take in... More

Me and my friend Maïwenn stayed at Karelia's B&B for a couple of days during our road trip and it was, by far, the highlight of our trip! A fabulous B&B which is situated around 13 miles north of Applecross. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. The rooms are extremely comfortable of which there are two and share the bathroom. It is very clean and would not hesitate in booking this lovely B&B again. I only stayed for 1 night with my two motorcycle... More

After attending a wedding just south of Inverness myself and my girlfriend decided to spend the remainder of the weekend on the west coast. On previous trips we have visited Plockton and Ullapool, and on this occasion we decided to go over the Bealach na Bà and explore the area between Applecross and Torridon. Arrina is a tiny village tucked... More

We found this B&B on the internet and made our reservation there for 3 nights in August 2012. It was the most amazing 3 nights away. So we returned again to Colonsay B&B for another 3 night stay. But this time my son and his fiance joined us! They totally fell in love with this beautiful B&B and the beautiful... More

Stayed here last month for only one night. In retrospect, we realized that was a mistake once we got there. Beautiful location, house and rooms and kind and attentive hosts. Spot on with the little things like nice hot showers as well. In the evening, we took the scenic coastal road to the Applecross Inn for dinner, then the mountain... More

Loved staying here - Kalie & John welcomed us and we felt very at home. Great views, lovely breakfast. Watched the birds as we tucked into fresh fruit, yogurt and the freshest of eggs. Cosy, quiet and peaceful. Would def. return.

Unlucky we stayed only one day in this beautiful b&b. Karelia is a beautiful person, nice kind and friendly. The house and room are beautiful and clean, the view is gorgeous and breakfast is really yummy and hearty. Thank you again for everything, certainly if we'll come back in Scotland we'll return to your b&b!

I booked this B&B after a friend's recommendation and was not disappointed as it was just like a home from home. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel completely welcome with a much needed cup of tea and a tastie home made brownie which we enjoyed in the sunroom looking at the most beautiful view. Our rooms... More
