Conveniently located in the main street. We visited to eat on a busy Saturday night, but they managed to find us a table. Plentiful choice of good value food and a decent range of real ales. We shared a smoked salmon platter as a starter, then had main courses from the specials board. The service was friendly.

We arrived on a cool, rainy early evening at the hotel looking for food and found it to be exceptionally busy with many tables already reserved for evening bar meals. We had no idea it would be so busy but are HUGELY appreciative of the staff who squeezed us in, between bookings. I have eaten here before and yet again...

My wife and I stayed overnight at The Plockton Hotel late in May, en-route further north. We have stayed and/or dined here several times over the years and have never been disappointed. This year we were fortunate enough to be allocated a room overlooking the bay - which provides one of the most stunning views in Scotland. The room was...

Who would think of finding such a great hotel in such a small village. The hotel is actually a series of buildings. We were in the main building and had a large room with a view over the water. There were big thick towels and robes in the room and TWO comfy chairs. For once one of us did not have...

This was our first visit to Plockton and what a lovely surprise as the place is beautiful. We booked into the hotel and was shown our room in the annex which we thought would be attached to the hotel but was a little bungalow further down the street. It was lovely as it overlooked the sea. It had everything we...

Plocton is a lovely old fishing village. We have been there before and returned eagerly. The hotel has been tastefully converted from two adjacent houses. We stayed one night for an early start the next day. It is hard to fault it. We took three rooms: two in the front and one at the side. All the rooms were excellent,...

We have been to Plockton before but did not have time to stay on our last visit but this time we had a room in the annex which was perfect on the top floor with a little garden. The hotel is nothing special but the staff are. We were made to feel very welcome and had a drink in the...

Second visit here. This time stayed in a first floor room overlooking the harbour rather than the cottage annexe. Excellent room with a massive bed, wide window seat, bath robes and prosecco from the family. As usual busy in the bar and restaurant, but the service does not falter. Very welcoming and friendly. Lots to do and see. Close to...

We stayed in the cottage annexe and had a lovely room looking out over the harbour. Perfect. The hotel itself has everything you would expect and need to a good high standard. We didn't eat there (this time) but the restaurant was fully booked. Loved it all and will definitely put on our list of places to go back to
