I assume that if you are reading this review you know it is not cheap, I do think that it does offer excellent value for money for a 2 or 3 night stay. Eric, the owner has been doing this for many years and knows what does and do not work. The cabins are spacious and spotless and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual. The food is excellent and bringing in a bottle of wine for dinner is no problem. The staff are excellent - friendly and accommodating. The location is beautiful and there is more than enough hiking and canoeing to satisfy most outdoors people. We stayed at the height of the fall color change and the views on the hikes were spectacular. All covid precautions were taken and you could elect to eat in your cabin although we were comfortable in the dining room.Highly recommended

Property's Favourite Review
We visited Killarney Lodge in October 2019, before the madness started. As much as we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, the peaceful setting, the wonderful catering and all the activities and walks, we now realise just how precious those few days were and that it will be hard to experience the carefree peace and tranquility of sitting by the Lake of Two Rivers absorbing the autumn sun and the sound of Loons. If anyone gets a chance to go there as we did, sit, close your eyes and just dream of a better world for the future. At least we have photos and videos to remind us us of what a wonderful experience we had. And a thank you for the continuing postings on Facebook of tranquil scenes.

Thank you for your kind words. We will pass them on to our staff who, like we, share your appreciation of this special place. We are looking forward to once again welcoming our guests, our friends, as soon as conditions permit. In the meantime, best wishes to all ... and take care of yourselves :)

An older perfectly preserved and modernized lodge. Our cabin was floor to ceiling high polish pine boards. Dogs are allowed in certain cabins, which are slightly noisier and maybe less desired because of the closer proximity to the only road in the park. But it is a non-problem as you settle into the smells, sounds and food served. Oh the food is perfect. We were not lacking for choice and with covid protocol, you can choose electric cart delivery to your cabin door or dinner in the dining room. We did cart delivery that was a highlight for each day. The staff, beds, linens and towels are wonderful. Uber clean. Ducks at your dock, loons in the lake, and chipmunks on your deck. (They provide free food for all critters) Need a break? Go.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. There was a bit of a misunderstanding regarding our room which the ladies at the front desk were able to remedy quickly. We really enjoyed the one room cabin which faced the main lake. It felt very private. It was tastefully decorated (we loved the art work!) and the bed was very comfortable. We had our breakfast and dinner in the main dining room which we really appreciated as we both work from home and so the opportunity to 'go out' for dinner was such a treat. . COVID protocols were well established and followed so everyone could feel comfortable. There were plenty of choices and the meals were something to look forward to. We enjoyed prime rib, salmon, arctic char and lobster tails. The fresh bread, sides and the desserts were all delicious (the pumpkin pie stood out for me!). The dining room was hosted by Cheryl who really made our stay. She greeted everyone with warmth and enthusiasm making everyone feel special. There is also a policy of no cell phones in the dining room which we thought was brilliant as this is a place to disconnect. There are many hikes that can accommodate all levels of hikers that you can do within a short drive. Cheryl recommended Booth's Rock which was definitely the highlight for us. The vistas are spectacular. Every cabin has it's own canoe, as well, which we took advantage of a couple of times. This is a property we would recommend and happily return to.

We sought a brief relaxed autumn getaway and Algonquin Park and the Killarney Lodge exceeded all of our expectations. We visited the 3rd week of September 2020 and the maples were at their spectacular cavalcade of colour and our cabin at the lodge provided an idyllic respite. We stayed three nights and were up early each morning to watch the sunrise from our east facing deck while enjoying a cup of fresh brewed coffee from the lounge. The Killarney Lodge stay includes three meals a day - breakfast and dinner (in-cabin or in-dining room) plus a picnic lunch. There were several options for each meal and we thoroughly enjoyed all of our choices. Breakfast and dinner seating times were comfortably spaced allowing for relaxed service and plenty of time for conversation. What impressed us most was the cleanliness of the lodge's facilities and the attention to cleaning and sanitizing protocols. Tables in the dining room were well spaced, staff wore masks and gloves and guests maintained adequate distancing while both in and out of doors. We felt safe and comfortable the three days of our stay. Each cabin is provided a canoe which is great. However, we are neophytes and our launch point was from a steep rock incline. We opted to pass on taking the canoe.for a paddle.
