Zapallar is a beautiful coastal holiday town but this hotel was very disappointing. More like a b&b but missing friendly owners. There was one nice person who helped with luggage but receptionist was impolite and rooms had no closets and no place to put luggage. Interesting modernist house but furniture isn't up to standard and pool is tiny.

Dear guest, We do have closets and everything needed for a cosy acomodation in our rooms. We apologize if you didn't get to meet any of the owners but we are changing personel and during this holiday week they spend it with family, but they are always arround. So sorry you had a bad experience with us.

The property itself is basically worth what you pay for it. Only one person on the staff spoke English. He was quite friendly but never around. The rest of the staff holes up in the kitchen and rarely comes out. They give you a key to your room and a key to the property and leave you to your own...

Dear Heather, We are so sorry to hear "you get what you Pay", we put much effort -as a team- in every detail. Since your review, we have done some serious changes, starting with staff (actually, you visited us in the middle of the change). Doors are fixed now(every 2 years cause of sea weather), we have material in english...

Soy Chileno de corazon...and proud of it. When in Zapallar, this is where I will hang my hat, period. Owners and service(I wrote down you names but I cannot find them Daniel and Eric?? Lo siento...) are first rate, bed was firm and perfect, and do not overlook the meals served there by a small but imaginative staff, accompanied by...

a 4 night stay at casa zapallar, at the end of patagonia walking tour. this is a very boutique "hotel", and after an annoying arrival, our stay improved considerably, the house is incredibly difficult to find, as the street it is in seems to be composed of several disjointed roads. so some directions (and a visible sign outside) would be...

This is our 2nd visit to this lovely hotel. It is charming and small, only 7 rooms. We have a king bed that is very comfortable. This is a modern hotel with a slate bathroom, no tub but beautiful shower. There is a pool on the rooftop with a nice set of chairs to sit out and have a glass...

We stayed as a family of four including two teenage boys for three nights as a break between Atacama and Chiloe. Friends from Santago recommended the hotel and it was a big hit with the family. Zapallar is a beautiful town in a stunning setting on the coast. Lovely houses, mainly second homes, with wonderful gardens and stunning views creates...

Our friend, who is from Chile, told us to visit Zapallar and to stay at Casa Zapallar. This is a small B&B which has a modern vibe to it. The B&B is not in the center of town, but it is wonderful to be on a quiet street with trees all around. The rooms are clean & comfortable with modern...

En route from Vina del Mar to Mendoza Ar the "long way" during the winter (off) season we arrived without a reservation on a Friday night. It took quite some time to find this hidden place. Not far from the main drag - to the extent there is one - in Zapallar, but the tight one-way streets and the lack...

We stumbled across Casa Zapallar almost by mistake and had the most wonderful stay there. The room is 5 star quality and the beds extremely comfortable. We ended up extending our stay! The breakfast is not the best ever but nothing to complain about. If you haven't been lucky enough to be invited to stay at one of the hundreds...
