We stayed for a week to celebrate our birthdays as diamond club guests and we both were amazed by the beautiful location on the beach with a great spacious room with a large bedroom, separate lounge, jacuzzi bath, separate shower, mini bar, 2 balconies etc...

...Our room was in excellent location, but our shower flooded our entire bathroom and to the front door...

...We stayed in the Diamond Club and my room (2301) which was the perfect location...

...We absolutely LOVED the location of our rooms for the atmosphere we wanted...

How do you close the lobby bar at 11:00pm that’s when they party is starting and you are forced to go to the sports bar that playing excessively loud music when you really just want to relax and enjoy a couple of drinks and a nice conversation before bed...

...Our group felt like the music at the pool and daytime entertainment could kick it up a notch. Pool music was often Spanish or instrumental and didn't liven up until after 2pm...

...Worth noting that several of the 60+ crowd we spoke with felt the music was a bit too loud in the evenings and sometimes out at the pool, so take that as you will...

...There is a party in the lobby every evening and they crank the bass and volume as loud as it will go... Every night is a hardcore dance soundtrack...

...If you are looking for a chill relaxing time by the pool then this is not the place to stay as there is constant loud music blaring from the pools everyday... Similarly, the music entertainment in the evening is also very loud so bare in mind when booking...

...The resort was beautiful, the rooms were clean and impressive... I would suggest this is more desired to a younger crowd, as the the day time music was loud and upbeat- I did feel as if anyone coming to relax, would have preferred a smaller resort that catered to a different vibe...

...The manager of the entertainment team or whoever is in charge of the music might do well to survey their guests. If you’re into euro/techno music all day everyday, this is the place for you... The choice of music hobbles the entertainment team’s efforts...

...The parties were mostly well done but the atmosphere was lacking at times but I would attribute that to the crowd except for the glow party. The glow party was just strange, we got to exerpince it twice and the choice of soft jazz saxophone interludes really drove the mood down, it's the only event that crowds would leave before it ended and that happened both times...

...On the two rainy days they made sure to keep us entertained with dance lessons in the lobby... Every night we found ourselves up dancing with the Vibe team, the Chic girls and other guests... In our past visits, we really enjoyed the Queen tribute band, the nightly solo performers from 6 to 8, the fire dancers and the high wire acrobats... Losing the rock and roll night was disappointing...

The Royalton chic was such a great experience! We stayed at the chic mansion for my bachelorette... We asked for a speaker in the house to play music and they came in an installed a huge speaker...

...From the fitness team who do aqua aerobics everyday or water spinning class in the pool or fitness challenges on the beach all with uplifting music and enthusiasm. The Vibe Team made up of Yordy, Ruben, Luis are without doubt the friendliest, nicest set of lads I have ever met... Yordy the pool party and evening party MC was always signing, dancing and laughing, making every event thoroughly enjoyable, even taught him and Ruben how to do the silly salmon into the pool!...

...The pool was good for a more lively atmosphere with music and activities provided by the Vibe and Fitness team who were all very friendly and welcoming... Coffee shop is a really nice touch and visited numerous times for ice cream, also stays open late...

...The atmosphere was amazing, everyone was included from foam party’s, dance lessons, pool party’s, dancing with the DJs in the evening, sporting activity’s around the complex and getting involved too!...

Whole group got sick first day of the trip, got into the room and it was very hot with no ac working... Put us into a new room with a door that has an huge gap when fully closed and lets in hot air making it hotter...

...Our fire alarm in the room kept intermittently alarming without reason...

Me and my husband went to this hotel for a one week stay. Upon arrival we requested to change our room as we did not book a terrace bottom floor room which is what we were given... One of the butlers told us that it was not possible to change for about 20 minutes, I then told him I would speak directly to the manager myself, which surprisingly out the blue he had a room available for us to move to, which originally they said they had nothing...

Would have given a 5 star review if it were not for at our check in they did not have our room available that day. They made is sound like they were treating us special by giving us a suite for one night and then having to move out of the room the next morning... This not an upgrade when you need to move the next morning before 11:00 and can't check in to your new down graded room till 4:00... And I was very adamant that I did not want the "upgrade" I just want our room...

First couple days we had some issues with our rooms. No cool lights under the bed, tvs didn’t work, fridge broken, no drinks in our room, no running water for awhile, leaking shower onto our bedroom floor, missing chairs, missing toiletries and losing power while in the room... We switched rooms after the first day... We had issues in our second set of rooms... We talked to others that had room issues too... Resort is smaller so any of the rooms are close to restaurants, pools and beach...

...She made sure that everything was taken care of for us - dinner reservations, room cleaned, fridge stocked with what we liked and everything in between...

...Before I got to the resort, I communicated with Manuel and Pedrito to confirm all our room reservations... He recognized my status with Marriott and ensured I got the requested room... They coordinated getting everything I needed to do on my visit, from getting my bags to the room and restaurant reservations, keeping me updated with daily activities, and ensuring my room was stocked with the items I wanted...

...My room received cleaning service every day at 11 in the morning, the service feels personalized since the butlers are also always ready and ready for you, I met their supervisor, she is pleasant and they are always looking out for you yrani, joan, juan thank you for assisting us...

...On arrival, check in was very quick, the cases taken to the room within 10 mins, allowing us to quickly eat at the buffet as we landed later at night. We had a standard room which was to a decent size, clean, and the shower was hot and powerful... Air con also worked well to keep the room cool, as the weather stayed hot and humid all through the day and night...

...It’s run down, the rooms smell super musty, and we paid for a partial ocean view room and we got maybe a glimpse of the ocean... He was able to get our room smelling better, our reservations for dinner, and some extra things for our room!...

I arrived at the hotel and was told I didn’t have a reservation. I immediately contacted Marriott for assistance and they were able to find the reservation... The hotel manager assured me they would fulfill my reservation with an upgrade but they gave me a Luxury Junior Suite and charged me for the Luxury Diamond, Club lounge access, Presidential Suite... If any research was done then they would realize that a Luxury Ocean View Junior suite is not an upgrade to the Luxury Diamond Presidential Suite... I just put in dates and room prices of the Luxury Ocean View Junior Suite is $540 night and the Luxury Diamond Presidential Suite is $603 night... This is unacceptable for a Marriott property and I will continue to voice my discomfort of how I’ve been treated and how my reservation miraculously disappeared from the app even though the room was paid...

We constantly sprayed our room with Lysol but still a smell, got home and next day opened luggage and had same smell. The room smell is a draw back for me if it’s not clean and fresh it dampers the experience...

We are on holiday with TUI for 11 nights and we are currently on our third night (room 9308). When we arrived,our room was not ready for three people to stay in... We also requested an additional chair and a dressing gown on the first night - as everything in the room was for two guests, whereas we are are three guests...

In 2020 I paid Chic directly $700 US (at that time nearly $1000 CAD) for an upgrade to an oceanfront room just before COVID shut down air travel... I re-booked this past spring and was told the room upgrade I wanted was no longer available, so I booked and paid for Diamond Club... We had a great vacation at Chic, in a great room, with a great butler...

...The rooms are modern, clean and cool (temperature wise). We got an entry level room and it’s a bit small but didn’t mind as we don’t spend a lot of time in there anyways... I never really understood the whole concept of paying for one of those private dinners but during ours I realized why people do so...

...The only con that I found at this resort was the constant trying to up sell you with wine, bottles and dinners...

...Unfortunately nothing about this property is a 5/5... Do Not bother with the Diamond upgrade unless you want to see a slice of the water (literally)... I would not recommend this and pray Marriott improves their inspections of properties to maintain their standards that many of us rely on when choosing accommodations around the world...

This resort never has chairs available at the pool area, many are reserved by the hotel for an extra fee ... In general it’s a small resort with no water sports activities as advertised and it doesn’t deserve it’s five stars...

I ask for steaks & lobster dinner at their cost and and was ok But some how they denied the offer We were in restaurant... The Hunter is so so nothing to be excited The Japanese restaurant is also terrible as no wasabi and green Tea available and you call this is Japanese For all the travelers ,The Royalton Chic Is a premium price but poor service and Food and don’t recommend to book this hotel at all...

...Also, in some restaurants they didn’t provide Premium Beverages for the Diamond Club guests, for example I have to take from the main bar my Tanqueray Gin because they didn’t have it in the restaurant... As a Titanium Bonvoy Member they only offered the upgrade to Diamond Club Access, no room upgrade... When I got in the room I couldn’t find a bath robe and sleepers, I also ordered some special pillows offered for the Diamond Club Members and they never arrived...

We booked to stay at The Royalton Chic Punta Cana over Xmas & new year in the Diamond Club having stayed at The Royalton St Lucia 3 yrs ago (also in the Diamond Club)... We felt the need to review this hotel & post our own personal opinions as unfortunately we were left feeling rather disappointed... Obviously we knew this but having been to the other restaurants we were surprised we had to pay for wine & the service was very slow (we also waited up to an hour for food in the Diamond Club beach bar, although the staff working there are very friendly)... We appreciate everyone has different expectations but we personally wouldn’t rate this hotel as a 5* (particularly not the food) & we will not be returning to the Royalton Chic Punta Cana...

As For The resort Our rooms were clean and turn down service was provided every day, Pools were clean, Beach had a lot of seaweed, could be maintained more frequently, pool washrooms could be checked more often, The only thing I would say we were disappointed in is that for an all adults Resort the Lobby bar is cleaned up and completely closed by 11:00, So we were forced to get up and go into the casino or disco to get a drinks , We just wanted to enjoy our cocktails on the couches in the open lobby enjoying the tropical air where we can talk and drink with our group all and all we were treated great and had an amazing time and thank you to all the hard working staff...

Diamond Club provided an access to exclusive area on the beach and included everyday access to sauna, steam room, hot tub and cold pool within a spa...

During our visit to the buffet today we had some amazing servers at the buffet... Our servers today were rosa and Angelica, winstonand Eliser... They were so very accommodating and made sure we had everything that we needed... There was also a manager on staff today Josefa and not only today but every time we visited the buffet she could be seen working throughout the restaurant with her team... She also visited tables, smiling, greeting guests and making everyone feel at home... The food was good but the service was phenomenal...

My partner and I stayed at Chic Royalton for a week. During this week, we observed staff to continue to go above and beyond to make the resort an amazing experience... The staff had dressed up for Halloween, and also continued to engage with guests to ensure they were having the best time possible... On our last night for my birthday, a special shout-out to our server Victor Manuel served us for the romantic oceanside dining experience... This was by far the best service, and the best food that Chic Hotel had to offer...

Currently here from 6th October - we are on day two... Main buffet is closed this evening and we are unable to get into the restaurants - having to order room service...

...Had a great time on this resort, the staff was very friendly, most of the food was good but the buffet could have been much better however there is a great view of the ocean and pool from there. I really enjoyed the gym and the fitness instructor J.Carlo was very nice and helpful with a lot of things also his activities are very nice and entertaining... One of my favorite places in the resort was the coffee shop and the waitress Maribi provided excellent service and always knew what I wanted to drink and had it ready for me... The various staff at the bars were also great I don’t remember everyone’s name but a few people stand out Rosa,Diana,Yerfin and Padre were all very helpful... if you ask the excursions staff they can assist you and transportation may be included...

...They locals and staff at the Royalton Chic really appreciated us visiting there Island and resort... The resort was well maintained and had ample staff... Samuel our concierge/butler went to all lengths to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy with our stay...

...The staff is super professional, friendly, polite and now their trade. A special shout out to Jean Carlos at the Hunter Steakhouse, he made our dinners a great experience, Nestor at breakfast time, greeting us every morning with high energy, fresh squeezed orange juice and a big smile...

...On the first night, on multiple occasions we requested to be given three bottles of water, but we received nothing. We also requested an additional chair and a dressing gown on the first night - as everything in the room was for two guests, whereas we are are three guests... We have stayed in many 5* hotels across the world throughout the world and this hotel is definitely not a 5* hotel considering the poor quality food, drink and service... There are plenty of hotels in Punta Cana that are far cheaper and probably offer a far better service...

We had an amazing time the crew works so hard to make our stay so enjoyable and memorable Rosa the Server waking around the pool always making sure if we need anything and making sure we had Drinks just amazing. Josefa,Cristino Angel Perez John Trovolta and the Chef were all beyond Amazing always making sure we were all ok with our food drinks tables always cleaned WOW... IT was just fantastic the way they made sure we were well taken care of during Breakfast Lunch and dinner time... Also after Dinner always asking if we needed anything and if we did they would get it for us with no problem just amazing... I want to thank them for doing that for us even though we knew they we working hard to make sure we and everyone else in the place were taken care of they gave us a few minutes just to be part of our family love them for that... It’s Amazing how hard they work so we can enjoy our time there We are planning another trip there soon can not wait to see them we miss them already Thank you So So So much for a great and AMAZING TIME...

...Helped with all our needs and kept constant communication. They cleaned up the resort very fast after hurricane storms and quickly adapted to changes needed...

...The staff from management, front of house, animation, restaurant, ground keepers, housekeepers, gardners and everyone else all added to the enjoyable holiday we had... Fermin in the buffet took good care of us along with the rest of the waiters/waitresses.. Elvira who's a wee trouper always hard working and ready with hugs... The management who made sure we never wanted for anything by fullfilling any requests we had... The gardners who kept the grounds pristeen... Cannot forget the men on the beach who worked their socks off raking up leaves, seaweed etc... The bar staff and coffee shop staff who kept us hydrated 😋... We thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts...

...It was a little crazy, understandably so, and the staff did whatever they could to serve everyone until the weather was getting worse. We unfortunately spent the first day in the room while the staff cleaned up, but the effort the staff put in was exceptional, and they worked around the clock to get the resort cleaned and the restaurants open... They did everything they could and we really appreciated the effort!... Always reachable and even during the first few days after the storm where our phone wasn’t working, he made sure to find us on the resort to let us know our dinner options and activities for the night... Definitely a 10/10 experience, and even with the adversity (Hurricane) the staff here, Enrique especially, really stepped up and made our trip great...

The food was delicious and we received amazing service from Diany, Jesus, Encarnacion and Rosmery. So kind and attentive!❤️ I had the spicy sauce on penne for lunch and dessert was tiramisu, which was delicious...

...The Vibe Team, such as Junior, made the atmosphere welcoming and exciting throughout the week. The room was clean, modern, and luxurious (Diamond club)... Upon arrival we checked into the Diamond club lounge... We were assisted and introduced to our butler, Teudi... Teudi was incredibly helpful through the week... He assisted us with anything we needed and the week would not have been the same without him... He made us feel so welcomed and at-ease from giving us a tour of the resort, to booking our reservations, to checking in daily... Teudi offered incredible service all week... His sense of professionalism, while being personable made him a great staff member... We did an excursion through the resort and were helped by Hector... Hector was knowledgeable in helping us book and we had a great experience doing so... We encountered many restaurant staff who made us feel welcomed and remembered us throughout the week... Some of the restaurant staff members we felt went especially above and beyond were Yusi, Joseph, and Christino... Having a swim out pool was a great plus, I would highly recommend booking... Throughout the week we were served by the pool staff at the ledge of our swim out pool... Arelci was our pool staff that had such a fun personality and who was so accommodating to us all week... Booking the Diamond club gave us access to the Diamond lounge as well... This was a great perk to have throughout the week... The staff in the Diamond lounge were so sweet and accommodating as well, especially Rose...

My partner and I stayed at Chic Royalton for a week. During this week, we observed staff to continue to go above and beyond to make the resort an amazing experience... Everything from the pool fitness classes to each night being a themed party was an absolute treat... The way that the hotel is set up it’s also very easy to make friends with other guests because of the experiences that take place during the day...

...The hotel is very spacious, clean and has a vibrant atmosphere with plenty of activities and entertainment going on each day and evening... The buffet restaurant has a wide selection with many dishes cooked fresh in front of you... Very spacious and you can go on plenty of long walks... Overall, we cannot wait to come back next year and have already recommended this to friends and family to return!...

The Royalton chic was such a great experience! We stayed at the chic mansion for my bachelorette... From the moment we got to the resort we were treated amazing!... Having a private check in to having a personal butler!... He set up everything up for us including dinner, excursions and transportation... We asked for a speaker in the house to play music and they came in an installed a huge speaker... We have a private chef and Samuel had us all the drinks brought from the resort to us... The mansions was amazing and the pool was also great!... The resort it’s self has lots of activities and the drinks were great!... The staff was very friendly and helpful in any way they could!... Being with 11 girls in their 20s-30s, we always felt safe and security was constantly outside the resort!... Overall would go back and highly recommend this resort!...

...Visited Royalton Chic Nov 2022 We were 6 couples in our 50s we had a great time We arrived at midnight due to our flight being very delayed we were greater at the bus By Carolina who quickly guided us and got us checked in quickly and seamlessly Our group was originally not going to be a diamond club but we did upgrade to Diamond club and we are so happy that we did, Carolina informed us that our butler would be there in the morning to greet us and at 10:00 am sharp we met Samuel Can’t say enough about Samuel he is professional, extremely attentive, communicated with us regularly throughout the day, and did his very best to meet all of our needs, prepared our cabana with extra loungers, made our reservations for every dinner and would check in every evening to make sure we were enjoying our meal, he also made Hair appointments, arranged dry cleaning, arranged bottle service for us in our cabana, Samuel helped make our stay stress free... The steak house was great both steak and Salmon were delicious and Carlos took great care of us all 3 times we ate there, The Italian Restaurant was also very good (just watch out for the hot spice it’s killer) Thank you to the vibe staff for the daily entertainment they helped make our days and night extra enjoyable... As For The resort Our rooms were clean and turn down service was provided every day, Pools were clean, Beach had a lot of seaweed, could be maintained more frequently, pool washrooms could be checked more often, The only thing I would say we were disappointed in is that for an all adults Resort the Lobby bar is cleaned up and completely closed by 11:00, So we were forced to get up and go into the casino or disco to get a drinks , We just wanted to enjoy our cocktails on the couches in the open lobby enjoying the tropical air where we can talk and drink with our group all and all we were treated great and had an amazing time and thank you to all the hard working staff...

...Pros- Marcos Bartender at the pool bar, Design of the resort, Entertainment Cons- If it wasnt for the few great staff members such as Marcos I would give this hotel 0/5 stars... This hotel offers cabana rentals as well, i had a resort credit and booked two day beds... There are many staff members on site bothering you to purchase additional activities which got annoying most times...

...We had a wonderful time at Royalton CHIC Punta Cana!... The evening entertainment was also a really high standard with dancers, singers and circus acts most evenings... We also enjoyed the foam party that we attended, even though though it was a bit overcast on that particular day...

Good resort with good food. Diamond Club upgrade provides you with an additional personalized customer service... Resort had excellent Wi-Fi connection... Excellent customer service at buffet by Kerry and Fausto... Diamond Club provided an access to exclusive area on the beach and included everyday access to sauna, steam room, hot tub and cold pool within a spa...

...Our recent holiday to the Royalton Chic Dominican Republic was nothing short of amazing! The restaurants and buffet were brilliant with extensive choices and traditional dishes... The bars dotted around the hotel again were brilliant, a long list of cocktails that are made quickly with a smile from all bar staff, waitresses around the Pool are fantastic and always are there to help with the names of drinks and cocktails that you see or fancy!... From the fitness team who do aqua aerobics everyday or water spinning class in the pool or fitness challenges on the beach all with uplifting music and enthusiasm...

...Our personal butler Samuel was extremely helpful and attentive and it was convenient to communicate with him via WhatsApp. The pool scene was lively every day... There were many fitness classes available and the Vibe team was always entertaining...

...We stayed at the Diamond Club Presidential Suite and had Joan, our butler make reservations for dinner and our taxi back to the airport. We did not download the resort QR code to see if the daily activity and entertainment info were posted there, but Joan texted us that info daily... The desserts at the buffet restaurant were beautifully crafted, the soups were really good, and there were many dishes in the buffet spread for all three meals... Bar service was good at the beach, in our Diamond Club area...
