We had the most amazing time on our spring break vacation. The amenities were top notch, and the employees were the kindest people we have ever met. A big shout out to Dariel who was our concierge who went above and beyond for us the entire week.

We had the best time! I'm so glad I didn't listen to the recent reviews! We had a swim up suite. Get it, it makes the trip! You will be on the first floor and have instant access to some fun! The rooms were clean, well stocked and just very nice. The bed situation is weird for a family resort, but we knew that going in - one king bed and a pull out couch, no double beds. The king bed was comfortable enough, and the other one was ok. The shower and bathroom were beautiful and well laid out. It was the first rain showerhead that actually got shampoo out lol. Great water pressure. The waterpark was fun - characters, lazy river, lots of activities. Great for kids under 7 or so. Some larger slides for the older ones as well. The restaurant at the waterpark is ok - flatbreads, burgers, chicken wings, fries and a full bar with mixed and slushy drinks and ice cream. The waterpark is kind of across the street from the resort- there is a path to get there or the golf carts take you. Transportation wasn't an issue. The hotel pools were beautiful but cold. There are 2 infinity pools and then 2 others, one with a swim up bar. The beach is gorgeous- lots of seats and cabanas. The restaurant zest that's by the pool is probably the worst one there. The buffet has random items and nothing great. Location is good though. The other swim up bar is Frescos - it is smaller and very cute - they have a restaurant there as well with a few options. the yuca balls are great. Kids got mac and cheese. If you have small kids, don't miss the splash pad by the restaurants. The restaurants - Wok Wok - yuck yuck lol. Fried rice was good, that's about it. Burgers PH - very good. we got the machete burger and mozz pockets and fries. All delish. Spacewalker - very cute, the steak and stroganoff were good. Must go here if you go! It's a vibe. Verdello - everything here was decent. Pizza, pasta, chicken. Their salmon was amazing and their eggplant parm was delish. Sugarcane - I am not a buffet person but this place was excellent. Huge selection for all meals, and the food was reallly good! They will make you custom things, but what they offer is great too. Breakfast is huge, I'm really going to miss this. fresh pressed juices, custom omelets, quesadillas, crepes. salmon, steak, allll the things! Service - Out of probably 60 people we encountered there, only one was not nice. Everyone else was overly kind and went out of their way for us. Download the app and you will see all the entertainment for the day. And yes, get slimed!!!!!!! We want to come back again next year.

We had the best trip at this resort! The property was beautiful! We absolutely loved the beach and pool area! Excited to see the place when the construction is complete. The service was especially amazing. We had the most lovely and attentive butler, Rainieri! He was above and beyond amazing! Our only complaint was food at the waterpark was mediocre and really needs more improvement. Everything else was perfect! Can’t wait to return!

This was my first time at a Karisma resort. We went for spring break due to the interest of checking out a nickelodeon themed hotel. I had read the reviews here prior to coming so I had an idea of what to expect. After reading the reviews and now experiencing it the reviews that give this place a 2 to 3 star are indeed pretty accurate. I will give my breakdown below. But a quick summary of this place is that the rooms were nice however service is very slow and lots of inaccuracy of what is available. The people that work there are friendly but very understaffed. The food at best is mediocre especially for the price. It reminds me of the carnival cruise ships of the early 2000s. The bars serve only bottom shelf liquor unless you pay additional to buy a whole bottle. Overall: if the price point had been $400 a night vs $1400 it would have been a different review. If you are going to spend 1400+ a night go to a luxury brand such as the Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, St Regis, Fairmont , Rosewood, Conrad etc and get treated like royalty and make the money worth it. Pros -People are friendly. We encountered people that were very friendly. They did their best to accommodate with the resources available but service was so slow because they did not have enough people. Despite that they were always happy. -The rooms were nice . I enjoyed the room. We had a swim up suite which was nice for the kids to get an evening swim. -The beach was a nice area. I enjoyed swimming etc. -club nick was nice for the kids -the sliming experience was a unique and fun thing. Don't skip this. -aqua nick was nice but just as the majority of reviews it's for young kids. 6 to 7 years old max. Cons -the service was so slow in all areas from check-in to restaurants, bars , poolside service, aqua nick etc -not accurate information available even on the karisma app. It had most of the info however there were things where i saw but not listed on the app. For example, an activity that I stumbled upon but was not mentioned beforehand like a beach BBQ with a premium bar. It required an upcharge and looked very nice and I would have paid however I ate dinner at a regular restaurant prior and happened to take a walk to the beach and saw the setup. It was empty and not many people knew which was ashame bc it looked like a good event. -the food. Wow the food was incredibly bad everywhere we went. The only thing I really enjoyed the fresh bbq food on the beach and at aqua nick where they set up a tent and grill. The food is not good at all. I was surprised that there wasn't more complaints on trip advisor for this. -the bar. The bartenders were good but the property serves well drinks only on the resort. For the price at least the average brands would have sufficed. They have to do way better here. I would expect the Tito's, patron, Johnny black, etc for the bare minimum at the bars. -promotions. Be weary on any resort credit especially when booking. They do not actually apply the credits that you were supposed to get. Just go with the expectation that you will not get the credit. -character breakfast. It was a fun event but I would expect at least different food than the typical breakfast food. -Concierge and front staff didn't really do much. Not sure of their purpose. They mostly stood around all the time when I was there and could never answer any of my questions or help with setting anything up. They would refer us to contact the personal butler service.

Beware of Nickelodeon's timeshare scam with "Prestige." They promise luxury trips but deliver subpar hotels after you pay thousands. Connecting you to other scams like RCI and 7across. Stay alert, avoid all timeshares. Don't fall for their deceptive tactics; they're all scammers. This is my family and I experience. when you go to Nickelodeon, it might seem very nice and friendly, and you’ll have a butler and it will feel like a dream. then, out of nowhere, you will be scheduled an appointment with prestige. which then pull you into timeshare prestige themselves are scammers, and they convince you to buy a diamond or a ruby etc, and it consist of traveling to many different countries for a cheaper amount. although when you make the purchase for example of $25,000 which my family have done and you see what you have paid for it small disgusting hotels. SOME DONT EVEN EXIST, prestige scam you with your money, then, when you signed the contract they celebrate and give you champagne and say how they’re always gonna be there for you and book your hotels and you’ll get 3 free flights and cheaper hotels. They also connect you to RCI and 7across which are also scammers as well. but it was all a lie. It was just a scam. IN A SHORT SUMMARY don’t have any contract with prestige or with RCI or seven cross. They are many other scammers timeshares like these as well stay away from timeshares they’re all scammers its disgusting to see that Nickelodeon will allow such business and target families. please stay aware and don’t fall for any timeshare. They’re all scammer. I wish I seen comments like this, so it would have saved my family and myself. also, when you confront them about this, they will lie and say oh this person just didn’t have a good experience and they’re just writing this. We are not scammers. They’re all liars don’t fall for them. They would try to act so sincere and nice, but they are all scammers.

We went for spring break with two other families and a total of 6 children from 3 yrs to 6 yrs old. Our friends got swim up rooms which were really fun for hanging out. We had booked a Swank suite. Upon check-in to our room we were greeted by families standing in the hallway complaining about not having hot water their entire trip. The bellhop helping with our luggage assured us each room had it's own water heater (lie 1). I immediately checked that there was no hot water at all while the bellhop was saying it was warm at the sink (lie 2). He dropped the bags and left us. I walked all the way back to the lobby to complain and Roberto at the front desk asked me if I didnt see the reviews about no hot water (like it was my fault for not seeing that this property had hw issues and still chose to visit). He also told me the entire resort had no hot water and they were working on fixing it (lie 3). I went over to our friends rooms and found they had hot water. So I went back to the lobby and called Roberto out for his lies which he immediately shut down after being called out for lying straight to my face before. The front desk acted like oh well you got assigned to one of the bad buildings, tough luck. I had to get loud (not fun on vacation) to force them to move me to our friends building which was a lesser room(but had hw). I asked for a refund for the price difference and they refused. I was just happy to get out of the other building. I met other families the rest of the week complaining about not being able to shower all week and I felt somewhat guilty when I took piping hot showers. The resort is very large and walking with little children is difficult. They had 2 golf carts going from the beach to the water park but they took about 15 mins to get picked up and were usually full. This slowed us down quite a bit. The pools were nice, swim up pools were fun. The water park was great for our group of kids but I could see 10+ yr olds being bored with no large slides. I believe they are building a larger slide area that was under construction now. We also went to Hard Rock which had much better slides and the 6 yr olds went down them all! Entertainment was lacking. We saw one show (Orange Carpet) which the kids loved. All the characters were there dancing. Unfortunately this was the only real show like this that they had. They should have had those every night but did not. They also only have a few character meet and greets and most are surprises so we wound up meeting the Fairly Odd Parents which nobody knew. So we booked the character breakfast and turtle dinners which are about $360 each for a family of 4. The food at these were bad so prepare to eat elsewhere before arriving for dinner. We had a bad experience for the Turtle Dinner. It was booked and scheduled for 7:30. When we arrived we saw we were missing stuff already. It turns out they moved it to 6:30 so they could squeeze in an 8:30 show. No one told us and the app and tv still showed 7:30pm. All the families that arrived at 7:30 were ushered around to take quick photos with the 4 turtles. Then they did a little ninja training routine and said good bye. We were all like what just happened? We complained and they told us we came an hour late and it wasnt there fault. At checkout we told them all 3 families were not paying for the dinner and they refused to help. Their manager was in a meeting and that we had to pay and complain later. They were trying to wait us out but we were going to the Hard Rock next so we had time to keep complaining. After they figured out we were persistent and from Jersey we would not fall for their lies. Finally they gave in and we were able to checkout after about 2 hrs. They also did not like hearing me tell arriving guests about check ling their hot water immediately upon getting to their rooms, haha. Overall, the 6 kids had a blast, the parents found enough booze and food to get by. The Snick Lounge has arcade game style emulators which the kids loved. It also hat a nice bar for the adults. The sweetery was also a favorite with good icecream. This place is for the kids and they had a blast, but it could have been so much better. A better management team could make this place great. Invest in some new water heaters and some more golf carts. Dont make your staff lie to guests to cover the resorts short comings. Our friends who went 2 years ago said it used to be a lot better. Hopefully they can fix the problems and get this place up to 4 and 5 star reviews.

UPDATED REVIEW: The GM responded to my review saying he personally communicated with me. That’s a lie, as nobody has reached out to me or my wife. We’ve given up on expecting any customer service or trustworthy reply. We just recommend you don’t waste your time with this resort. Original review: My wife shared our review about our experience and the resort GM replied to our review telling us to contact customer service so they could address our concerns. We emailed them for a third time, and as of over a week later, we have still received no response from any member of their customer service team. If and when they do respond, we'll update the reviews accordingly. Unfortunately this resort fell far short of our expectations and the experience that promotions convey. Food was terrible regardless of location. Everything had an “off” taste with minimal flavor. We would get through entire meals and dessert before someone would approach our table to offer water or a beverage. We also had no hot water our entire stay. When we called about the issue, and the one time someone picked up the phone, we were simply told they were aware and working on it. But it was never fixed while we were there, which meant ice cold showers for us and our child every night of our stay—not a pleasant experience when paying a premium full price at all inclusive resort. I emailed customer service about the issue and they said we didn’t answer the phone the one time they apparently tried calling and left it at that. I tried calling back and also emailed again, and it’s been almost 5 days now. Still waiting to hear back from customer service and/or a manager that I was told would be contacting us. The bathroom door also didn’t close and the fridge wasn’t cold or working properly. The only highlight of the stay was the sliming. They provide one free photo from the sliming to print, but the print quality and coloring is awful, however. They said we could purchase all of the slime photos (10 or so) for what I thought she said was $16. I clarified and said six-TEEN as in 1-6? She said yes. They then charged my card and when I calculated the currency exchange, it was $60. Which I never would’ve paid, so that was a bit frustrating also. The waterpark is tiny and for younger kids (we had a 10-year-old with us who was bored with it in about 15 minutes after one lazy river loop). I recommend looking at different resorts to get more value for a significant vacation investment. GM’s RESPONSE: We are so very sorry to read your review and greatly appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We greatly regret that you sadly left the hotel with a poor impression of your time with us and I offer you my sincerest apologies, as you did not experience Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana at its best. On this occasion, it seems our usual warm welcome and caring service was regrettably missing and this is certainly not the level of service we wish for our valued guests. I trust you have received my personal communication to you, as it is important that your next experience is reflective of Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana's high standards of service and quality. We take all guest feedback very seriously and so we thank you once again for sharing your experience and observations We do hope that we have the opportunity to welcome you back to the Nickelodeon Resort Punta Cana in the future.

Third trip to Nickelodeon Punta Cana. We traveled over busy spring break (Easter week) and had a 4 night stay in connecting family rooms as Ruby members. The good: - service by staff is amazing. - our butler Dariel was outstanding - the upgrades to Snick Lounge and Sweetery are excellent changes to see! - organized kids games on beach were a crowd pleaser. - buffet was generally good with huge selection - our spa massage was great - kids enjoyed the pizza making event The mediocre: - most of the food was so-so. It has been better quality in 2021 and 2022 during past trips. Really disappointing to see the decline. - entertainment felt lacking for kids above the age of 8. Very geared towards young children. I think this would be a easy fix to make. - in general the hotel needs to do more to appeal to kids ages 10-18. Snick lounge is a good first step in that direction. A separate kids age group for kids club that addresses ages 8-12 would be nice to see with some older kid activities. Doesn't make sense to mix 4 year olds and 10 year olds. - long long waits for dinner with young kids was a struggle The bad: - Verdello Carbonara dish was literally inedible - lots of misfires on member perks. Aromatherapy and pillows never showed up, we waited 25 minutes for a rum tasting event that never happened and it was annoying to waste our time that way. - the waterpark is VERY slippery. We watched several people go down! I would encourage the hotel to try to take steps to improve safety. Because we are members we would go back but I would hope management ensures member perks are consistently being delivered. I bring family and friends each time and i want them to have the incredible experience we had our very first time in 2021.

We had a wonderful family vacation. I don't usually write reviews however the staff and resort really made the trip an amazing time. We are Prestige Travellers and this was our first time at this resort. We have 3 kids 15,12,8 and even though they are way past their prime to enjoy all the kid friendly activities they still had a good time. However, this resort is meant for anyone travelling with younger kids, if your kids are older and open minded they will still enjoy the sun and beach. The Resort is wonderful, beach and water are amazing, pools are great, alcohol is always pouring and the staff are truly amazing - not all resorts offer such great hospitality as this one. The one thing is the food is not amazing by any means - we understand that it is geared to a lot of parents with younger kids so a lot of fried foods - which if you're going for the beach and sun you'll find something to eat. The water park is also limited to small children - needs an upgrade if they want to expand their clientele to an older audience. If we had younger children we would come back however we will most likely not. I would recommend it for anyone with younger kids. @ Mr. Sexy Jeans our Prestige Concierge truly amazing and very helpful - he was always attentive and looked out for us. Carlos the beach butler and Daniel the beach barman made our days at the beach truly special and were very attentive to our kids - anything from food to drinks were always there. Felix and Ramon at the Nickelodeon Water Park were also amazing. Thanks for the wonderful time and company!
