linens thread-bare, stained and torn. very run-down. Pool area was the best part of the stay….if there had been a place to sit. 2 lounge chairs only!!! understaffed . Staff tried their best to be accommodating , but only so much they can do. NO assistance from the managers.

It's by this attraction called Buddy Evan's Crystal Palace, which I thought was kind of funny. He's the guy who started Hee Haw I guess. This was a nice hotel, and they did have a lounge and breakfast joint that was very busy, but still got everyone fed. The lounge is located back in this tiny corner, so I didn't... More

NO ELEVATOR - staff was able to get us a downstairs room. Website does not indicate clearly no elevator. Room was Clean, Had to ask for more towels - room for 2 people should have 2 of each kind of towel. Staff addressed the no elevator & towel issue quickly. Nice Breakfast - choices not typical free breakfast - a... More

You get an excellent room for the price. On vaca with the wife. This is one of the best we stayed at. Large room with many amenities. Fridge, microwave, desk, table and chairs. Also dressing area and bath.

Right next door to Buck Owens Crystal Palace which is a great place to check out, foods a bit pricey (not real bad) the food is very good and live bands nightly good drinks and cold beer. Also 24 hour mini mart with gas right next door, The breakfast was simple but good.

After a hard day on the road it was very pleasant to walk into a clean room, nice swimming pool and relaxing spa. I still have issues with most places not having an elevator and I had to ask for towels for the pool and they were not readily available. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Overall this is a pretty good place to stay, the location for me is great, plenty of activities near by to unwind after a long work day. The Buck Owens Crystal palace is right next door, great bar and restaurant and the hotel also has a decent restaurant and lounge on site.

This hotel is conveniently located off the freeway in Bakersfield, so we've stayed there a few times in our treks across California. I absolutely love the landscaping around the interior courtyard. It seems like a tropical paradise. Sitting in the hot-tub you can soak in the trees and sky and flowers - very refreshing after a long journey. The rooms... More

This was a very nice hotel overall. There were some issues with our rooms but the staff worked very hard to overcome the problems. Because of that, I will stay there again. There are plenty of places to eat and an AM PM right next door. Easy access to Highway 99 north and south.
