I have 8 pillows on each bed! And they are all good pillows. I am a traveling performer. When I need a hotel its for a place sleep and I'm looking for a comfortable bed. That's what's important. They have great beds here. The room other than that is very nice but the beds are their best assets.

Bakerfield is not Paris…. or Las Vegas, but this is great value if you include the breakfast in your room rate or happen to be a mar riot gold or platinum customer. Rooms are not huge but the shower is great and the beds are wonderful. For under 100 on a weekend i thought is a great value...

I stayed at this Marriott on two occasions, separated by a few days. I ended up getting two rooms that were directly across the hall from each other on the far east end of the sixth floor. One room faced north and the other faced south. For a quick summary, I would stay at this Marriott again. The rooms were...

Only here for one night, but what a pleasure! The staff at check in were so friendly, they did everything to make me feel at home. Once I entered the room it was like being at home. Such a nice property with lots of parking in the rear of the hotel. I would recommend a stay here for anyone.

One night stay and had a comfortable room on the quiet side, away from RR tracks-any seasoned traveler knows to ask when checking in or better, when making reservations. Concierge lounge was average at night and breakfast was OK, but not as good as several recent stays at Marriotts. All the staff were helpful and friendly and concierge recommended a...

The price is reasonable, the place is clean and the staff was friendly - plus no additional charge for the wi-if.. Only stayed one night but if we return to Bakersfield, CA this hotel will beat the top of our list. No complaints at all!

This is a great place. All the Staff I encountered from check in to the restaurant were friendly and helpful. I received an automatic upgrade when I check in to a nice parlor suite. The room was clean, fresh and roomy. I had a quiet sleep and the next morning I enjoyed Eggs Benedict. They were one of the best...

This hotel is right next to the train tracks which means 50% of the rooms face the trains...and they move all night. Be aware of this when getting your room. One more thing. Thaw the cinnamon rolls before breakfast.

We stopped at the hotel for a quick one night stay. We arrived around 7pm. There was no wait at the check in desk. This hotel is not by the freeway, it is by the convention center. So the rooms are quiet. The king room we had was a typical Marriott room. Both the room and the bathroom were very...

Stayed en route from Death Valley to the coast. Room was spacious, beds very comfortable indeed, excellent shower. Offerings in the executive lounge were average at best and breakfast was only ok and not as good as other Marriotts. Staff were very helpful they scanned and sent an important document for me with no problem. We eat in the restaurant...
