As you can see from the answers there are a number of factors. You are only about 20-30 minutes from the 'entrance' but then depending on traffic and road conditions, getting to the attractions can take even a few hours but... More
As you can see from the answers there are a number of factors. You are only about 20-30 minutes from the 'entrance' but then depending on traffic and road conditions, getting to the attractions can take even a few hours but that would be the same for any place you stay - except right in the valley. Bass Lake gives you beauty and a reasonable price.
