Don't ever make a hotel reservation with "BookIt.com". I made it mistake to reserve two room via their representative to this Hotel and prepaid 2 nights. Upon our arrival, the appearance of the Hotel made me to check the rooms first. The rooms were not only tinny and dark, but very bad urine odor.. The carpet were dirty and beds...

Management response:

I'm sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with our hotel. I understand that you did not like your rooms and although you were offered other rooms to inspect you refused. Our entire staff from Management to Housekeeping take great pride in providing an excellent guest experience. As such I made a point to inspect your...

Pros: Location. Cons: You will barely sleep. If anyone down the short creaky hall or in the rooms moves, speaks, or has a shower, you will hear it like thunder. Impossible to have a good nights sleep. Rooms are tiny, bed is uncomfortable. Stay away.

I wasn’t expecting much based on the reviews but I was so pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at The Crescent. It honestly was fabulous! For starters the location is amazing! It is literally steps from all the things that make Beverly Hills what it is (the fabulous shopping, dining, people watching, talent agents, plastic surgeons, Rodeo Drive)! From the...

I recently spent 4 nights at the Crescent. As a hotel owner myself, I have to give a complete thumbs up for the service, quality of food, room comfort, cleanliness and overall warmth of this hotel. The staff were friendly and amazing. Justice at the front desk and Will behind the fabulous bar made my evenings quite enjoyable. Even the...

Hotel location, cleanliness, and service all very very good and kind of make up for the thin walls which can make the hotel noisey. Great for a cheaper hotel in a great area.

Location wise the hotel is top! Just a few walking minutes from Rodeo drive. The hotel is also very stylish. The room as well as the bed were very small, the door to the bathroom too short to close which was for us very disturbing as you could hear everything! The AC did not work properly, there was no safe...

Needed one additional night for work when in LA, found this property via online search, and was very pleasantly surprised. Great location on the edge of downtown Beverly Hills, rooms are great although a bit on the smaller side.

You might have seen the reviews here mentioning how small the rooms are. Well this is no hype, they really are small. The hotel masquerades as a boutique hotel, but really it's just cosmetic, it's just a small hotel with small rooms. As a tourist you don't come to LA to spend time in your room, so the basic essentials...

I had the pleasure of staying two nights at The Crescent. Sure I read the reviews of people complaining about things - but I take negative reviews with a grain of salt. I think you can get an okay room at this place, but be sure to ask in advance. Mine was so small that you couldn't even sit up--no chair or desk. As an added insult, the remote for the tiny TV didn't work. The staff is nice, but valet parking costs $28. The only reason I gave it two stars...

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This Beverly Hills hotel, a true boutique with just 32 rooms, is in the heart of Beverly Hills just 3 blocks from Rodeo Drive. The front palm lined terrace (breakfast, nibbles, tapas and dinner) faces Crescent Ave - a wide palm lined boulevard. Established in 1927 and newly renovated in 2013, the décor is casually Hollywood, like a comfy collection of styles from the studios' storehouse of set designs stretching from 1920 to 2013. The feeling is “at-studio-at-home” with a film designer’s whimsy. The terrace and lounge flow to create the hotel’s social hub, offering casual dining and a relaxing bar/lounge, punctuated by Beverly Hills chatter. Directly opposite the hotel are the historic offices of MCA Studios. Our hotel became MCA’s local choice, where a cadre of players would stay when in town. ... more   less
