Recently stayed at The Big Bear Chateau for a snowboarding trip. If you're skiing at Bear Mountain resort this hotel is extremely convenient. Checked in after riding all day. Room was warm and clean and even had a gas fireplace and towel warmer -- both good for drying out the wet clothes. Lounge open for dinner and live entertainment Sat...

Hotel was extra kind and curious for our breakdown! Not only did we sled all over the property, but they let us loiter several.hours after check out waiting for tow truck! Super kind staff from housekeeping to breakfast and of course the patient kind front desk. Look forward to another visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. We were there to celebrate my birthday. The made-to-order breakfast was served SO quickly you barely had time to grab coffee before it was on the table. The front desk folks were super nice. They gave us a drink coupon because our room wasn't quite ready (20 minute delay). There was...

Weekend getaway with family. Good customer service and very close to both Snow submit and Bear Mountain ski resort and Zoo. Complementary made to order breakfast was very good. We ordered omelette and egg Benedict plus fresh cut fruits and waffle was great. Kids loved this place and will be back every weekend during ski season.and plan to come back...

I had a family emergency and had to cancel my weekend trip. I called over 24 hours to cancel. I was told it was the manager's call as to whether or not they would offer a refund for the first night. (48 hour cancellation policy) Not only did the manager fail to honor a very reasonable exception to policy, she...

This was the perfect location for our weekend trip to Snow Summit. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked and the made-to-order eggs filled us up for our day of snowboarding and skiing. We had planned to go out for dinner, but decided to give the hotel restaurant a try and was glad we did. The staff was very attentive, the...

Our room was perfect! It was just perfect! Decorated very nicely, beautiful furniture. Clean, had alot of warmth to it. Did feel like a motel, it was very comfortable, as in a home. The entire motel is beautiful. Some floors are marble. The dining room floor is marble & huge lobby. The breakfast included was great! There's a chef, present...

There are not many nice hotels in Big Bear so to find this one I was excited! No, it is not the Marriott but it has a quaint feel to it. You have a fireplace in every room and a balcony which is a nice touch. Antique furnishings are used at this hotel so sometimes your drawers are a little...

Management does not seem to care about parking during snow storm. You will get blocked in. Bring your own shovels. We spent two hours digging ourselves out of the driveway. What a nightmare. Be very careful. Poor Parking.

We do apologize for the inconvience. We do try our best to make sure all guests are satisfied. The winter storm had delayed the snowplow company that we hire unexpectantly.
