I took my wife and 2 yr old up to the mountains for a quick break and had an incredible stay. The "cozy cottage was exactly that "cozy" A little smaller than I had hoped but it worked out great and met all of our needs. The owners are amazing! They welcomed us when we pulled in, got us a...

Felt like home, friendly and helpful owners/staff. Easy parking and a direct start for hiking inthe Nat. Forest. Room rates were very economical and cabin #2 was quiet, warm, super clean and everything spiffy and working. Fine, firm beds. Breakfast (serve yourself in the lobby and eat in your room) was much more substantial than expected. A great 3 day...

This resort was just what we were looking for at a great price. Use of a relaxing hot tub, woodburning fireplace, and continental breakfast. The cabin was perfect for our whole family of four. We liked that the resort is slightly off the beaten path. The hosts were also very helpful and friendly.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Timberhaven lodge for a second time. It is a great place tucked away in Big Bear. Cozy cabins with everything you could ask for. The owners are onsite and are extremely friendly and helpful!!! I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good value in Big Bear.

Just got back from our trip and I have to say that the reviews are right! Timber Haven was a welcome respite only an hour and a half from LA. Me, my husband and our 3 year old Golden rented cottage #6. The rental was clean and comfortable and the location is incredibly quiet (though we were there in the...

Timber Haven Lodge was just perfect for a weekend getaway. From the location in the trees on a quiet street, to the clean, comfortable "suite", it provided the necessary solitude I was looking for. I especially appreciated the friendliness and hospitality of the owners, and the nighttime visit to the jacuzzi was "icing on the cake"! I am very much...

My husband and I took a quick trip for Valentines Day to the Timber Haven Lodge. I had seen it on the internet and it really was even nicer than I expected. It was a wonderful trip! The cabin I stayed in had a jacuzzi tub and fire place. It was warm and cozy even though there was at least...

“Cabin I believe 7 - the log cabin is located right next to the parking lot. While you sleep you can hear car doors slamming shut all night long. Just wanted to point this out in case you're a light sleeper. Oh and the biggest tip is to bring your own fire logs!”

“Cabin 7 had more space, so it would be better for 4-6 people. It has been thoughtfully updated, while still keeping the feel of the 1920s log cabin. Great if you want to experience Big Bear the way it used to be. Also a bit closer to playground and spa.”
