Most people stop in Bishop, we decided to stay in Big Pine. The Motel offers good value for money. The room is big, the bed is comfortable and the room is clean. Bath room was pretty big. The staff is friendly and eating facilities are nearby in walking distance. So all you need for a motel stay on your drive...

Pros: Good location mid-way along highway 395 - not a whole lot in Big Pine but Lone Pine, Bishop, Mammoth Lakes and all the awesome surrounding mountains are easily reached. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable! WiFi fairly reliable. Checking in at gas station was a little odd but actually kinda useful to pick up stuff you need....

Pretty basic hotel, clean, good a/c. Had a mini fridge and microwave in room to suit our needs. Sandwiched in between a laundromat and a gas station and mini grocery store with quite an inventory. Convienient location for hiking if not wanting to camp or need a break from it. Not many choices in this small town but fit the...

Normally I would recommend this Motel for One Night behause it's quite clean and simple. But we were here during a plague of beetles. There were not only some beetles, THERE WAS A MASS!!! They got in the room under the door, through all chinks, the lamps. We were not able to stop it. Therefore we spent the Night in...

We camp a lot and always use the Bristlecone as a jumping off place for further visits to remote areas. Love it there! Would recommend to family, friends and those wanting good value and clean and quality accommodations

This motel is operated by the staff of a next door Mobil gas station and convenience store. In walking distance there are two decent restaurants. The room was clean and looked that it was recently renovated with upgraded fixtures in the bathroom. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and a microwave oven. Internet worked well and was fast.

Luckily, we were able to snag the last room at the Bristlecone. It was nothing spectacular, but the bed was comfy and the shower was amazing. You hardly ever get a good shower in motels. The only think I didn't like was the fridge and the toilet being in the same room. Kinda gross, but I get it. There really...

The motel is ok. The vaulted ceiling is nice, everything looks clean. However, the beds are too soft, the heater is loud, the curtains don't cover enough window space so the outside blinking lights were in my eyes while trying to sleep. The bathroom definitely needs remodeling. Impossible to get lukewarm water, instead super hot and super cold drops come...

There isn't much choice of accommodation in Big Pine and prices are higher than further down the road in Lone Pine, but we wanted to visit the Bristlecone Forest in the morning. The motel is a bit dated, but the room was large and very clean, with a coffee maker and fridge. The bed was comfortable, so it had everything...
