We were expecting a little more upscale experience for our weekend stay at the inn at the tides. The infrastructure is tired and modest. We walked around the resort and noticed many rooms had a lamp on the reading table next to the picture window. When we requested one for our room, so we could enjoy the view we were...

Stayed overnight with my wife, visiting two sister in-laws, and brother in law and had dinner at the Inn at the Tides Wharf Restaurant. Fabulous time. First the rooms had exquisite balcony views from of the Bay, and the hotel is ideally located to nearby beach access. Elegant, tasteful low key rustic; the discerning traveler will appreciate bathroom lights that...

It has been a very long time since I last stayed here. Rooms a bit dated but overall very spacious and clean. We had fireplace dlx king - nice big windows overlooking grounds & bay in background.Shower was huge- only drawback is they forgot to tile in soap holder so soap would sit on floor, A bit odd. The breakfast...

I had stayed in this hotel many years ago and found it has gotten a little run down since then. It is still a very nice hotel and there are very few choices in and near Bodega Bay. Not sure if I would stay there again because all night long (every 10 seconds) you could hear the fog horn from...

We stayed at the Inn at the Tides for four days to explore the area. This hotel is in very good location, we had a wonderful view of Bodega Bay and Bodega Headland from our room at the top of the hill. The beds were very comfortable & there was ample parking outside our room. The grounds are beautifully landscaped...

I LOVED this hotel. Judging by the comments from other visitors I must have been lucky as I was assigned a spaceous room with two double beds in a block right at the top of the complex, with a terrace overlooking the bay. Some of the furniture was a little weathered but in reasonable condition considering its location on the...

Well I did a 7 mile hike in the Muir Woods with a lot of climbing. I spent two days before that walking around San Fransisco from the Wharf to Union Square and back taking Powell street so my old body needed a little relaxation! The Tides Inn has a Swedish sauna plus an indoor outdoor pool with a Jacuzzi!...

Very disappointing for this price, especially when you consider it's off season....it was a ghost town! We might have been one of about 5 rooms booked there it seemed like. You'd think with that low of occupancy, they'd put the guests in their best digs, not so much. Super tired property in dire need of attention/repair. Bummer.

Let me first start out by saying, the staff was very friendly and as accommodating as they could be with what they had to work with. With that being said, these rooms are in desperate need of a complete renovation! The 1st room we were assigned had the pleasant smell of mold when we walked in. The blinds were broken...

I knew I was in trouble at the front desk.. This is NOT a posh hotel !! Room old and worn out. Broken blinds and screens, smelly carpet, dingy worn out bath robes. Pool area SUCKS ! no cushions for chairs (had to get them yourself) No towels or water available. Gym a joke and dirty. Very disappointing !
