First impression. Beautiful grounds. Facilities that blend in well with the surroundings. Even-though the Inn is located across the highway from Bodega Bay, you don't feel deprived of beach access. Instead, the Inn offers great views and old school charm with lush landscaping, ferns, flowers, and lawn that's meticulously maintained. It's not so much new and designer modern as it...

Family of three traveling through Sonoma, wanted a day by the ocean. Room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. First floor unit had patio over looking the pool and bay. Windows opened that allowed fresh sea air into room. Bathroom clean with soft towels and robes. Complimentary breakfast and 20% discount on dinner. We were able to check into...

Easy check-in, polite and pleasant front desk. When we arrived at our room, upon first look we were happy and excited. The view was excellent and we were happy to have an outdoor sitting area. But the more you settled in and looked around, the "shine" of the room fell away. The carpet was atrocious! Dirty, large stains of I...

Upon our early arrival, we were greeted warmly and taken care of right away. We were able to check in a couple of hours earlier than the stated 4pm. The room was located on the second level with a view of Bodega Bay. To my husband's surprise, there wasn't a mini refrigerator or air conditioning. I overlooked those things. The...

We love the Inn at the Tides for a getaway place during the winter months while winter hotel rates are in effect. This time we were there on a Sunday in early March. The location is beautiful and only a 1.5-hour drive from many populated areas in eastern Marin and southern Sonoma Counties. This beats the long drive to Mendocino...

Nice location with great views of Bodega Bay, especially from 2nd floor rooms facing West. Room was comfortable, clean but dated, in need of update. A tough environment of marine air takes a toll on exposed wood structures. This hotel has been around for decades. Located in a natural environment right on Hwy 1. Close to Sonoma coast wine country,...

Our room definitely could use a remodel; the blinds and one window was slightly broken, and the place felt a little old. The walls are very thin too, so we heard a lot from next door. Good location if you are playing golf, also a good complimentary breakfast at the rides restaurant.

view, food, air and people……combo for a perfect relaxing time at the Pacific Ocean. This is a great stay in-between the visits to the wineries. February through July is perfect. The earlier in the year, the less crowds so book early.

We were driving up the coast, met some gals who recommended this place and bingo! We hit the jackpot! Second floor room with a natural fireplace! Outdated, no. Period chic, yes! We had cocktails and dinner across the street at the Tides and enjoyed an amazing sunset. Breakfast the next morning, again at the Tides, was complementary and well above...

We arrived and were so pleased with just about everything. The indoor/outdoor pool was very warm for the kids (End of December). The beds were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean. Only downside was loud people on top of us and that our room phone did not work. I loved having a porch to sit outside and see the...
