I booked what was advertised as a 'special room rate' but it turned out to be quite misleading. Upon closer inspection, it was the regular room rate dressed up to look special but this only came to light when we arrived to find a problem with our booking. The advert stated the room had a fireplace, but on checkin we...

Stayed here on our arrival day in San Francisco, but wish we had more time. Hotel, room and grounds were very nice. Great views of the bay from the room. Appetizers in the restaurant were delicious and left us wanting to try a complete dinner, but alas we were moving on. The local golf course "Links at Bodega Bay" was...

We had a 2 night stay at the Lodge in April. The weather was cool and overcast but it was perfect! The lobby is warm and cozy with a huge fireplace and wine and cheese every evening and hot chocolate and coffee every morning. The staff is more than accommodating and the Duck Club Restaurant on site is delicious with...

Although arrived and left in thick fog - this lodge was very comfortable and relaxing. Room was huge with a comfortable bed. View of beautiful grounds. Good restaurant. We found that one full day was enough time in town.

This was a fine hotel, but overpriced. We were on a two week trip up the California coast -- this was our most expensive lodging of the trip, chosen largely on reviews here. Room was well-appointed, with a nice balcony, but service and amenities didn't live up the price tag. We found Bodega Bay to be a little sleepy and...

I loved staying at this beautiful property. Rooms have water facing balconies to enjoy the stunning views in this tranquil environment. It feels as if you are staying in a luxurious nature preserve. My room was enormous with soaring vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. Beds are soft with cozy down comforters and fluffy pillows. The marble bathroom had a large...

We enjoyed spending the last night of our honeymoon at Bodega Bay Lodge. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and our balcony had a nice view of the ocean (although it was in the distance). The resort is walking distance to a beautiful beach. We loved the jacuzzi with a view of the ocean - although I think they should...

Bodega Bay lodge was a disappointment. We took care to secure a ocean view suite, and was rewarded by a sliver of a view of the ocean from the balcony. The room was well proportioned, and large, but the bathroom lacked privacy.. The bed was high (like!) and very comfortable. Internet connection was non-existent, so both my computer (IPAD) and...

We needed to get away from our hectic lifestyle and treat ourselves for our anniversary...and we found this escape at the lodge and its charming town. The drive from the bay area is not long if you avoid the high traffic time--and it's very scenic as you approach Bodega Bay. The hotel is wonderful, with fireplaces in the rooms, gorgeous...

This is the second time we stayed in Bodega Bay Lodge ( 12 years in between), and we still were surprised by the concept . All the lodges have a magnificent view on the Bay. The integration of the buildings in the landscape is spectacular well done. All in dark wood, well maintained. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant...
