Booked this place via their website email - it was a bit odd because I got a delivery failure off the email address on the website - but then received an email directly from manager Michael two days later. Anyhow - once contact was established booking was easy. Stayed in a king room - it definitely needs some updating but...

We stayed a couple of nights in mid March – used it as a base to explore Anza Borrego. Clean, basic type of motel if a little old fashioned in décor etc – but we enjoyed that as well. Didn’t make much use of the facilities as plenty of other things to do! There is an ice box to use...

Had a good couple of days at the Hacienda doing what we do best; enjoying the wonderful pool and just kickin' back with wonderful sun and the best weather! Our last trip there was perhaps 8 months ago and unfortunaltly I saw no signs of needed repairs getting done since then; the kind of thing that takes a little capital...

With no reservations we took a chance and stopped at Hacienda del Sol to find a room; but due to a busy weekend they were sold out. The owner, Mike, went an extra mile by calling around town to locate other accommodations for us. MIKE'S KIND ACT MADE IT CLEAR ~ NEXT TIME WE STAY HERE!

I stayed one night here a few weeks ago. I'd say Hacienda del Sol has three advantages - one is the low price. Another is that they don't require a minimum two night stay on weekends like many other places in Borrego Springs. Finally, it is very centrally located, so you can walk to anywhere in the small downtown very...

We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Mike, the owner, was a sweetheart (he's a hockey fan, so bring him a little home town gift to earn some brownie points). I loved the mum and pop style hotel- Mike even got us a paper in the morning. They have a fantastic collection of biological artifacts in their lobby and a great...

My husband and I just had our second late winter stay at Hacienda del Sol and we're already looking forward to coming back next year. It is one of those unusual home away from home places where you can truly settle in and completely relax. Last year we stayed in a motel room which was great - spacious and comfy...

The bathroom looks recently updated an had an extra large shower. They kitchen was very functional and surprisingly well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and...

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's not your usual upmarket chain hotel, but everything in the room was clean and functional, the bathroom was clean and the shower was nice. It was fairly quiet. We stayed in one of the hotel rooms, but there are studio's spread around the property that have living rooms, patio's, refrigerators and microwave....
