The Tahoe Inn is not the place to stay for a week’s vacation. It’s more of a “let’s go up to Tahoe for the weekend and stay cheap” kind of place. Like many other reviews have indicated, this is not a first class hotel. We’ve stayed here twice and have had no problems and actually thought the room was pretty...

We paid for our room ahead of time via the internet, but upon arrival, the management had resold the room, and didn't provide a refund. Very disappointed to experience this. However we stayed down the road at the TA-TEL and that was great. Would happily stay at the TA-TEL again -hot showers, king bed, ] clean room.

I prepaid for a room here on hotels.com before reading poor the reviews of this property on TripAdvisor. Why? Because hotel.com had its own reviews and they made the Tahoe Inn an okay property. Then I read the review on TripAdvisor and began to despair. I must've lucked out because I came with low expectations and went away with a...

I thought this place would be a great deal. The website looks pretty ok..but wow, what a total dump. The hottub was cold. (Unacceptable after a day of snowboarding.) The staff said it was because the emergency button had been hit and there was nothing she could do about it. However, the hottub had power, it just happened to be...

Like the title says, it's hit or miss at this place. I've stayed here twice, and each time was a different experience. The first time, I booked a Family room, only becauase it was only $10 more than a single queen room. The room was huge, but it was right over the carport near the highway. Very loud, because it...

I would STRONGLY caution anyone who considers staying here. I was only planning on staying one night with my children and figured I would save a buck since we only needed a place to sleep. We checked in at 6pm went to dinner and were back in our room by 8pm. Much to our surprise there was a domestic dispute...

We called the hotel the day before arrival and guaranteed a room. When we arrived early after a six hour drive, we checked in hopes of early check in (1PM). The desk clerk gave me an odd look, found our reservation and said that it wasn't ready yet. When we returned two hours later, she said that she didn't have...

We just returned from a trip to Tahoe and stayed 2 nights at the Tahoe Inn. We were a little leary after reading the reviews, but the price was right and we decided to give it a try. Overall, our stay was better than what we had expected. This is an older property and needs updated. But our room was...

First off, this is a cheap hotel and you basically get what you pay for, so don't expect much. Most other places are quite a bit more expensive. The first room that we were given was in the front of the building. Since they have not replaced the single pane glass, it was quite noisy inside. We quickly went down...

We were looking for an inexpensive place to sleep on a recent ski trip. We lucked out at the Tahoe Inn! I was a little apprehensive after reading the other reviews but was only concerned with cleanliness and value. Not only was our room extremely clean the staff was pleasant and the place is literally right across the street from...
