So well located for exploring the Malibu area. The premises are clean, modern and stylish. Lovely small restaurant faces fire pits in the outdoor patio. There’s also a heated pool. Rooms are quiet with oversized baths. Coffee and tea in the room plus a small frig. Ticked all the boxes. We give it full marks!

This hotel might be in the most luxurious location with an ocean view, but it’s close to restaurants and it’s only 20-30 minutes away from the beaches in Malibu. Our room was extremely clean, the sheets were soft, the tv had Google chrome cast so we could watch Netflix, the shower was always hot, and the mirror had Bluetooth so you can hook your phone up. Most places I go to the shower is always cold. The pool area is also very clean and a nice place to relax. The way the hotel is situated it’s like a courtyard in the back that is against a very large hill, so you don’t really hear much noise and kind of lose track of the fact that you're right next to the freeway.
The only things I noticed which are minimal was the bathroom sink had a crack running through it and the light switch that turned on the ambient lighting surrounding the bed had a crack on it, but still was functional. Im kind of nitpicking with those two things.
The staff was friendly and our experience was great. I’ll definitely be coming back for some future mini getaways.

This is our second time visiting, hotel is amazing clean and comfortable. We like that the hotel is newer and staff is very lovely. Always a hello or good morning. Well, the hotel is very lovely and clean. However, I must say that your desk staff very unpleasant, unhelpful, and basically has dismissed our issues. Although we requested to have our room made up (not everyday), housekeeping has been nonexistent, and each day when we try to set up housekeeping we have basically been ignored. When we spoke to the people at the desk (because housekeeping doesn’t answer phone), they basically just stared at us. Extremely disappointing for such a pretty hotel. Additionally, the bartender service has been a bit of a joke as well. Ordered something directly off their menu with only four ingredients, and each time the drink was made without one of the ingredients. Nothing earth shattering, but still very disappointing. I know things with staffing can sometimes go wrong but when we repeatedly asked for a service we were met with blank stares and instead had to rifle the housekeeping bins for toilet paper and tissue it becomes an issue for me. Good customer service would truly go a long way.

This is a beautiful, modern hotel. One of the criteria for cleanness for me is a room with no rugs, where you can actually see the floors and how clean they are. This hotel was sparkling clean. One negative think is paying for parking??It's not the 18$ that bothers me, but there was an ample parking lot and as guest to the hotel you would expect that to be free.I am used to pay for parking in hotels in New York where parking is sparse, but not here. Left me with an unpleasant feeling.

New hotel set in the hills of Calabasas. Room was clean and somewhat quiet. I gave Cambria 3 stars for following amenities not there that I would expect from a 5 star:
1) no hottub,
2) no washcloths in room, smallest towel was a hand towel,
3) shower pressure was pathetic, and I was only on 2nd floor.
4) no free breakfast- items in the $20 and up range.
5). very long walk down hall from elevator. Building is shaped like a big « U » with only 1 elevator near top of 1 leg of the U and long walk to other side.
6) no newspaper, unlike bunch of choice hotels
7) they charge $15/night for parking, and no valet.
They do have a nice bar in the lobby and the bartender was very nice.
It is a lot nicer than the only other hotel in this area of Calabasas, the Goodnight Inn, which also has no hottub and no free breakfast. But Goodnite does have a newspaper, free parking, washcloths in bathroom, good shower pressure, and you can park close to your room for half the price.

This little hidden gem is the best hotel, I have visited. The staff from the front door, dining staff and housekeeping and the engineer but most of all the general manager cares and always on site to assit. The food is so good especially the Everything breakfast and shrimp tacos. The entire staff remembers their guest and so friendly, they go above and beyond to make your staycation a remembrance. Its close to freeways and grocery stores, starbucks, eating fast-food for the kids to grab a quick bite but the dining room provides good healthy food.

We booked a room block for a meeting at Pepperdine's Calabasas campus, so all of our guests and staff stayed at the Cambria Hotel Calabasas. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and spacious, and I had a wonderful experience working with their sales team. They were the most responsive, communicative, and thorough reps I've worked with yet, and truly made planning a breeze, event when dealing with last-minute adjustments. When it came to the actual event, all the folks at the front desk were also extremely helpful and accommodating. Everything felt so easy, and folks really liked how the hotel was modern yet comfortable, and it was easy to feel relaxed in that environment. The nearby trails were also a big plus!

The bed and pillows were extremely soft and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and quick to help. Unfortunately at an already expensive property they charge $15 a night for parking and the breakfast with some of the most expensive I’ve ever seen with $14 for a bowl of oatmeal (cheapest menu item). More importantly, the shower was sad. Despite being a beautifully designed space, the showerhead had five nozzles, and the water pressure was beyond pathetic. So if you care about a hotel, having a great shower, don’t stay here. If you care about the hotel having a really nice bed stay here. If you want something that’s reasonably priced don’t stay here.
