Was nice room with good view of mountains. Overall quiet. Rained a lot so not able to use pool as I had hoped. Lap pool kept too warm for workout. Nice to have gym attached and be able to participate in classes. NOTE: You must pay for first FREE class then you receive a credit. No one explained that to...

A great place to get away. The rooms are clean and pools are rejuvenating. If you have never been to a hot spring come to Calistoga. They have multiple pools heated from warm to hot. The pools are clean and large. Great place to come and relax. They don't have a restaurant located on property, however nice restaurants walking distance...

The pools are beautiful and the setting -- in Napa Valley surrounded by gentle green mountains and lots of sky -- can't be beat. It was cold while we were there, so there were not many people and floating in the warm pool, swimming in the cool pool and de-knotting in the hot pool were all relaxing. The rooms are...

Hello emonique, thank you for the feedback on you last stay. We seem to have missed some items in your room and will make sure they are there on your next visit. We are not removing service items but upgrading them and you are here during this transition. We are referring our spa guests to Mount View and Lincoln Ave...

This is an excellent hotel for going swimming on a cool day. Aside from the kiddie pool, there are two pools for swimming, one at 80 and one at 100 degrees, plus a very large jacuzzi at 104 degrees. The bedrooms are large with a kitchenette including microwave and coffeemaker. Service is excellent and rooms look very new. The only...

Hello Ruedi, thank you for giving up feedback about your recent stay. I will talk with our maintenance team about the shower flow. As we are a Bay Area Green Business our facets and showers follow the new codes but still should work well. WE hope to see you again soon, Mike Lennon - GM

This was our 10th year for our annual SIS Spa Weekend and once again the hotel is clean and very comfortable, the staff is very accommodating and flexible when 50 women are tying to get checked in at different times and the generosity of the hotel for our conference room is beyond all expectations. We so appreciate the abundance of...

WOW what a review! Thank you for choosing us again and we love having you stay with us even during these January rains. We saw the group taking advantage of the coverage 104 degree jet pool during the rains. Cheers, Mike Lennon - GM

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautiful, very well designed. We appreciated that it was a short walk from our room to the mineral pools. The pools have a lovely setting. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed watching the rain from the hot springs. I can think of no better place to endure this rainy winter. The tubs are amazing, the rooms have awesome kitchenettes (great for families) and my kids love the Sugar Train across the way for a sweet outing. I love the location being so close to the grocery store and...

I've been coming here in January for ten years now. They finished remodeling last year. The rooms are nice. The pools are great. The spa isn't worth going to for treatments. It's better to go to other spas in the area. They don't have a restaurant. The front desk staff aren't consistent. There are a couple of really good staff...

Hello Cali-Native2015, thank you for taking time to give us feedback about your recent stay. I am slightly confused about some points you have made and do see some differences from your 2016 review of Calistoga Spa Hot Springs. During you January visit must have noticed we are remodeling our spa so this confuses us about your feedback "The spa...

A week-end at the Calistoga Spa Hot Springs is our favorite way to overcome rainy weather cabin fever. Soaking, swimming laps and working out makes us feel reenergized and relaxed. Plus, Calistoga is a very walkable town, so your car can get a long rest too.

While this is an older property, it is clean and comfortable. An added bonus is the kitchenette in the room. (Good for in room breakfast and heating up leftovers from the many awesome restaurants within walking distance of this hotel.) The mineral hot springs were lovely as was the large gas fireplace. (We were unable to benefit from these due...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Calistoga Spa Hot Springs, a geothermal hot springs resort, recently completed an extensive renovation project that has dramatically transformed a property that has been attracting repeat guests for generations. Located in downtown Calistoga, the 56-room hotel and spa was completely redesigned with a contemporary spa inspired look and feel. The eighteen month long renovation has touched all aspects of the property including a redesign of the guestrooms with spa-inspired bedding, honed Italian porcelain tile showers, kitchenettes with microwave ovens and modern conveniences such as full High Definition LED televisions. The focal points of the renovation are the four-geothermal heated mineral pools. The pool deck was fitted with travertine tiles, new designer-inspired pool furniture and the inclusion of grape covered arbors. ... more   less
