The house is located in a mixed residential area but sits across from a sports field which is noisey until past 9 pm. The grounds are attractive, with fruit trees, a fountain and herb and vegetable gardens. We stayed in the smaller bedroom which is a bit tired looking and hardly luxurious. The breakfasts were disappointing, reheated or lukewarm. The...

Of course I am very disappointed and surprised by your comments. As you can see from reviews posted, other guests have raved about their stay at CasaLana - the rooms, the location and the breakfasts which are prepared with seasonal ingredients and served fresh. I apologize if you felt uncomfortable that I asked about refreshing your room. I do so...

We had a great time in Calistoga and a major part of that was staying at Casa Lana. Our room was first class and the breakfast each morning got our day off to a wonderful start. We look forward to staying there again in the future and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, quiet stay. Lana is...

We just spent a fabulous weekend in Calistoga, staying at Casa Lana. The property is beautiful, our room (Palisades) was very comfortable, and Lana is a gracious host. The casa is close to the center of town, making for an easy alternative to driving, particularly after a nice bottle of Napa Valley wine with dinner. Five stars!

We stayed at Casa Lana for a quick weekend getaway, and it was perfect. We didn't take part in any of her classes, but I am imagine that they would be fantastic, because her food certainly was. Lana was great- gave us great restaurant recommendations, but wasn't overly-friendly, like can sometimes happen at smaller B&Bs. The location was great- about...

This was a surprise romantic weekend getaway to the amazing and lovely home and B&B of Casa Lana. We stayed in the Palisades suite, with the most comfortable king bed EVER! Lana, our hostess, was very attentive without being intrusive. A divine breakfast was served every morning. This B&B is within walking distance to Calistoga, which itself was fun to...

We were in the area for a few days proceeding our daughter's wedding and the flurry of activities with family and friends. We appreciated the lovely quiet surroundings and the easy walkabity into town. Lana's breakfasts are wonderful but my husband could have used seconds on her biscuits.

I appreciate you taking time to post a review. Some peace and quiet was a perfect way to prepare for your daughter's wedding which I hope was perfect in every way. I'm sorry I didn't have extra biscuits baked. If you'd like to make some at home, the recipe is on the website under 'about the inn', breakfast recipes. I...

My sister-in-law found this place to celebrate my 50th birthday. It was a girls trip with my mom and niece. Casa Lana is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion. The cooking class was down to earth and really informative. The property is within walking distance to town and I have always been a bedding snob. Needless to say when...

With planning for my son's wedding in June in Calistoga, I didn't know where to begin to book for myself and two other family members. Our wedding planner and a good friend suggested Casa Lana and so we booked. There are only two rooms in the B & B each set up for just two in a room. But the...

This property is a gorgeous home with an expansive beautiful garden maintained by Lana herself. Our room was private and quiet. Breakfast was exquisite. The home is walking distance from Downtown Calistoga and all the best restaurants and tasting rooms in town. Lana was very accommodating but not intrusive. She gave us great recommendations for wine tasting in the area....
