We had a wonderful 4 day stay. The room (one of two on the property) with the king bed was well kept, and well appointed, albeit not entirely up to date. Nearby construction was annoying during the day, but it should be done soon. AND THE FOOD! Creative delicious breakfast served every morning. Walking distance to Calistoga, which itself was fun...

This was a private cooking event for a group of 10 adults. Lana put together an excellent dinner menu and divided us into groups of two or three. The dishes we worked on were quite challenging as we prepared most items from scratch. I learned several techniques in preparation as well as some new knife skills. The evening was capped...

We had a great time here on our weekend to Calistoga. We stayed two nights and did a one night cooking class. The accommodations were great and the cooking class was awesome. We cooked a multi-course meal that was fine restaurant quality but done with everyday ingredients and easy enough to re-create at home. The basic cooking principles we learned...

CasaLana was everything we hoped it to be, beautiful, peaceful, and most of all with a gracious host. We stayed in the Arbor Room and enjoyed that even though we arrived late on Friday evening, we were able to pull up directly in front, less than 2 ft. away from our room. The bed was more than comfortable, the accommodations...

The GOOD -- Very good location in residential neighborhood, close to main street. Palisades room is spacious and clean. Innkeeper Lana is very friendly. WiFi works good. The "NOT SO GOOD" -- We have stayed in several B&B's but our recent visit of Casa Lana B&B was a disappointing experience. The Palisades room is located upstairs with entrance via outside...

I sincerely regret that CasaLana was not as you expected. If you had conveyed your concerns to me during your visit, I would have done my best to address them. As you can see from reviews posted, your opinion differs greatly from others. If you read the comments in the room diary, you saw even more glowing comments about the...

My wife and I went on a vacation in which we chose CasaLana, due to the intimate setting of the B&B. Cant say enough good things about how relaxing our stay was. Felt like a home away from our home. Walking distance to downtown Calistoga were my wife and I rented bikes for the wine bike tour. Be sure to...

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Lana last week. We chose it because of the location which was quiet and removed from the main drag of restaurants and stores, but still within walking distance of downtown Calistoga. Both rooms have private entrances from outside. We had everything we needed in the room and appreciated the little extras (particularly the...

We stayed there for the July 4th weekend. The property is nice, the breakfast wonderful, and the owner is wonderful to deal with. However the room was close to $300 per night (with taxes) and we felt it was overpriced. Specifically, the room was small and there was no maid service. For that price i do expect the room to...

Thank you for taking time to share your opinion. Feedback helps me make adjustments as needed to give the best experience for guests. I am sorry that you felt the accommodations were not the value expected. CasaLana prices ($259/nt before tax) are competitive with other lodging in the area of similar size and quality. I'm glad to know that you...

Clean, friendly, comfortable room, comfy bed AND an amazing breakfast. That's what is important to me and I will definitely recommend anyone I know to stay there and visit. I didn't know the area and I hit gold staying here. The location was perfect. It is close enough to downtown you can walk. We drove the first night because we...

We spent two amazing nights at Casa Lana and loved it. The room was very private and large and loved the location. We were able to sit on the patio in the sunshine drinking our coffee in the morning before heading out to enjoy the area and then come home to a beautiful relaxing setting at the end of the...
