We visited Chateau de Vie and it could not have been better. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts and the views from the house over the vineyards and mountains. This B and B receives excellent ratings and it well deserved as the owners take pride in every aspect of your stay. The place is spotless and very clean and well ran...

Last year at this same time, we spent three nights in Napa and three nights at Chateau de Vie. This year, we spent all six nights at Chateau de Vie because we had such a great stay. Peter and Philip are great hosts, and we feel they take a sincere interest in each guest's experience. Plus, they are great guys...

We recently stayed for the weekend in the cottage, which is separate from the main house. It is right in the vineyard and the vines are in every direction looking out the windows. All of the reviews we read on TripAdvisor were accurate. Felipe and Peter were wonderful hosts. Beautiful views. We especially enjoyed coming back to the cottage after...

We booked the entire Chateau (5 rooms) for a family reunion. You could not ask for a more beautiful setting. It overlooks a vineyard. The house wine is served during cocktail hour with wine and cheese. The breakfasts are over the top! Gourmet level.

My wife and I stayed two nights at Chateau de Vie for our anniversary. This is one of those rare places where you instantly relax upon arrive due to the setting, the feel and the owners genuine hospitality. Throughout our stay we felt that the quality of service was on par with the most expensive hotels in the Napa Valley....

Wonderful B&B. About 1 mile away from Chateau Montelena (of great chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon fame, as well as Judgment of Paris). Breakfast is delicious and usually served at 9, but can be adjusted based on your schedule. No TV or telephone in our room (I suspect in none of them), but there is a telephone, and a TV hidden...

We visited CDV for a second time with two other couples as we celebrated my wife's 40th. It had been 4 years since our last visit, but we were quickly reminded of the wonderful hospitality once we were greeted by Felipe and Peter. Service, exquisite and gourmet breakfasts and hospitality are 3 qualities that you will encounter every day. The...

My fiancé (now husband) and I got married on 9/16/16 at chateau de vie. It was the most magical experience we had. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay and get married. We stayed at the carriage house, which opens up to the winery and the view is just breathtaking. It's in a private area and detached from...

We have stayed in many, many great hotels around the world but rarely, if ever, have we felt so at home. Peter & Felipe are outstanding hosts and every aspect of our stay was memorable from the beautifully appointed rooms, seriously comfortable beds, excellent freshly prepared breakfasts to the lovely location just outside Calistoga. Everything, and I really mean everything,...

This is a little oasis at the top of the valley with beautiful views. For all the starred restaurants of Napa, the best meals we had were the amazing breakfasts brilliantly prepared by Phillip. Imagine waking up to muffins or scones in the oven. We sat outside on the deck, framed by two sycamores overlooking their vineyard to enjoy breakfast...
