My husband and I have just checked out from a 2 night stay here. Check in was really friendly and we found out there is a free shuttle that goes to and from Castello di Amarosa which was amazing news for us as my husband was going to have to drive it and limit his wine intake! This hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were large, with a few amenities like a microwave and refrigerator and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was also really modern and clean. The breakfast was quite limited in options but everything tasted great and the coffee with French vanilla cream really was the best filter coffee I’ve ever had!! One thing that we weren’t overly impressed with though is that they didn’t offer any housekeeping services because we were only staying for 2 nights, we would have expected to at least have our bed made up for the price we were paying! We did get given fresh towels because we asked for them. The hotel also has an outdoor pool and fitness centre but we didn’t make use of either. It is a short walk into town approx 10 mins and there are restaurants, wine tasting rooms, bars and shops. I would definitely recommend Best Western Plus Stevenson Manor, thank you for a lovely stay.

We stayed in a king suite with balcony. Room was very spacious, bed was comfortable. Coffee and tea always available in room or in lobby. Nice shower with instant, and plenty of hot water. Staff was very nice. Breakfast choices are varied, and the coffee machine is great!!

Calistoga Best Western is the top. There are plenty of “boutique accommodations” in the area that cater to those seeking mud baths, etc., but NONE can state that their rooms or other accommodations exceed the comfort, cleanliness, staff, amenities, etc., that Best Western provides.

Be careful when parking here in the lot. The concrete blocks for the spaces have rebar sticking out. The blocks are not properly spaced and the spaces are very small. Our vehicle was damaged by one of the spaces due to a piece of rebar sticking out about 2 inches. We parked in the space at night and didn't see the piece sticking out. When we tried to pull out in the morning we heard a screeching noise. We got out and saw that our mudguard was stuck on the block that was pulled out and dragging our car. It pulled our left fender in and damaged the vehicle. Maintenance staff helped us get the mudguard lifted enough to take the piece of rebar out. It made a hole and damaged the vehicle. We were told by an older/mid aged man (differentiating this way as there is a very young gentleman who was kind to us) at the front desk that we should not have parked there since the rebar was sticking out. I explained that we parked at night and didn't see it. Furthermore, why would they allow a space to have broken/damaged blocks in place. He avoided the topic and was hesitant in letting us take pictures of the block. I had to come back later when he was gone to take pictures of the block that they now removed and placed in the planter. He also did not allow us to make a claim through the Hotel insurance and told us that it was our responsibility to go through our auto insurance. He refused to accommodate us in any way and simply gave us the managers card and said call the following Monday for help. He would not offer any assistance or even let us know of a mechanic in the area that we could get the car safely looked at. He wanted to be done with the situation. Overall disappointing and unprofessional. I've had better service at a motel 6. This wasn't a minor issue and should have been treated very differently. Side note: The other front desk staff were very kind and helpful but this particular mid-aged/older man was of no help. Refused to look into the situation, assist in any way with a claim, couldn't tell us of any shop we can take our car to in order to make sure it was safe to drive, refused to make any written statement for the manager, and basically passed all responsibility to us. Absolutely horrible customer service.

I am so glad that my maintenance personnel were able to assist you, though it does seem that we have a different understanding of what transpired. I do apologize it came across that a staff member did not seem caring enough. We do care about all of our guests and always strive for great customer service. All our parking bumpers are safely and properly installed, though with lower cars this can happen when the car is pulled forward too far. As advised by our staff member, please reach out to your insurance company and we are happy to work with them.

This hotel offers a great value for a staycation in Calistoga. I have been to it a number of times. There are lots of choices with the included breakfast and if you love coffee, like some of my friends do, you’ll love their machine in the lobby that you can snag coffee from pretty much all day long. Of course you just park your car and walk the rest of the time that you’re staying here. In the summer, there are live bands, music & dancing, in Pioneer Park on Thursday evenings. I’ve done two staycations here in 2024 and another one is coming up in two weeks. It won’t be my last.

Napa Valley is a destination where one can spend hundreds to thousands of dollars per night on lodging. Best Western Calistoga is a great option for those who want to tour Napa Valley rather than spend most of their time pampered at a destination resort. You’ll save money that you can then use to buy wine! To me, the town of Calistoga has always been the laid-back cousin to Napa city. There are many good restaurants, old-school mud baths, and quick access to wineries either on Silverado Trail or Saint Helena Highway.
Best Western Calistoga is a relatively new property which is evident as soon you walk in the lobby. Everything is clean and shiny. The decor is modern. Rooms are large with comfortable beds, a microwave, a refrigerator, and air conditioning. My room looked out to an empty field. Because the hotel entrance is in the back, there isn’t any noticeable street noise. There is a pool, which I didn’t use. Breakfast is included. You’ll get a choice of hot and cold entrees—surely something to please every palate.
I love the stylish wooden shutters that are in the room. But I would love them even more if there was a blackout roller shade behind them.
Staff are helpful and friendly. This will be my new go-to hotel in Napa Valley!

This was a pleasant surprise. It is a very nice clean BW located in a perfect location for you to easily walk around Calistoga and quick easy drive to St. Helena for dining and shopping in both areas. The rooms were great and the breakfast spread was excellent. Only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower is pretty weak. Otherwise this place gives you more than you expect from a BW and its the most affordable option.

This is a nice higher end motel. Great clean rooms and comfortable bed. I got a great rate and was surprised I could find anything for under $200 a night in the area, however, it was a Monday night. I'm sure it was much pricier over the holiday weekend. Everything was great. My only world of caution is to avoid getting a room that looks on to the mountainside as there is construction that starts at 7 am with constant beeping. I realize this is not the motel's fault, however, it is good to be aware of. It made me get up early and out of the room earlier than I had planned. The complementary breakfast is very nice.

The Stevenson Manor inn provide a exceptional stay for our family traveling to Napa Valley. The staff was courteous, helpful and friendly. The room and hotel were clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was good, usual offerings for complementary breakfast but the fruit was very fresh. The staff helped us with directions and recommendation for local winery’s and restaurants. For the area a fair value for the stay.

We have stayed at this Best Western annually for the past three years and have never been disappointed by our stays. The rooms are always clean and the a/c working well. We also take advantage of their breakfasts which is just enough to make our morning wine tastings more enjoyable.

We are currently working on exterior painting and landscaping. If work continues to April it will be very minimal detail work on the exterior of the property. All amenities of the hotel are still open and there will be no impact to guest rooms.
There are more places to choose from in the Calistoga area.
